Brian May And Alice Cooper

Queen

Alice's connections to Queen are mainly with guitarist Brian May, possibly via drummer Eric Singer, who spent time in May's solo band. Ex-Alice keyboard player Fred Mandel also played with Queen duing the early 80s. The pair have often been seen together at various UK award ceremonies together and are obviously friends.

May and Alice have appeared on stage a couple of times. In 2001 on the second 'Brutal Planet' Alice invited both Brian May and curent UK prime minister Tony Blair to appear on stage with him the Wembley show. Of course only Brian showed up, and the band played the introduction to Queen's 'We Will Rock You' before going into 'School's Out'.

In 2012 Alice appeared at a charity show at the Royal Albert Hall in London, and again May appeared with him for 'School's Out' with show organiser Ian Paice of Deep Purple on drums. The show has been released on DVD and CD.
