This is obviously what this video is announcing, which appeared a little while ago.

According to the channel site it is actually "Nicky Horne Presents..."
Re: vintage tv
Of course everything Alice says has to be taken with a pinch of salt but the two most interesting things I took were that inviting the ACG was a experiment which worked and there will be more gigs and also that the HV album has been written and they are getting it recorded.

Eh?? Ok they got the date wrong! So what? Its not the end of the world! It was only 30 minutes and no chicken story! I liked the trash stuff. I've not watched that gig in years, brought back food memories.jacknifejohnny wrote:Didn’t get by the 20th min. Re: vintage tv
Expected better from Nicky Horne, knowledgeable bloke, was up at Capital Radio in “79” when he interviewed Alice on the release of FTI..Even the interviews seemed better back in the day, or maybe we just hadn’t heard it over and over again....or maybe I’m just getting old.

Re: vintage tv
I enjoyed the interview but agreed with the interviewer's suggestion that Alice should be modifying or extending the character and shows. Alice shot that down pretty quick, he seems to be in a habit that's working. But artistically speaking, I wish he'd branch out, try evolving the characterization and shows.
Any thoughts?

Re: vintage tv
except for more variation in his song choice during the tours, Alice must not change or broaden his character imo. He has nothing to prove anymore and as he often states : whatever he or other stars from his time period would do or produce, he won't gain new audiences or broaden his fanbase. I think he is more than pleased with the way things are going now, with the appreciation of Paranormal and the ever positive reviews on his shows, why should or would he try new experiments?
you really wouldn't understand..

Re: vintage tv
For whatever reason it seems Alice interpreted the question as being about slowing down / weakening the character, rather than expanding and experimentation - which, I reckon, he's eager for and is done mostly in his studio albums. There's quite a lot of styles that are different than what we could expect - Holy Water / I am made of you comes to mind. He still shows experimentation there, whilst perhaps not quite in his stage shows / setlist.
