Re: Superbowl
Seems odd to me, in his home city and no concert today, would have been a great opportunity.

Re: Superbowl
It's a global event, can't see it being Alice's home city being a factor!

Re: Superbowl
He did oversee the coin toss at the celebrity charity flag football game yesterday.
Schooooooooooooool's Ouuuuuuuuuuuuut. FOR. EVER!
Re: Superbowl
Just said on Channel 4 coming soon "...Alice Cooper..."
Re: Superbowl
Being interviewed on Channel 4 now
Re: Superbowl
Damn, I actually thought I had it on right now, but it was the wrong channel!
Re: Superbowl
Was only a short interview Si. Nothing revelatory - saying how Phoenix is transformed for the week of the game and his predictions for the game itself.

Re: Superbowl
Was it a UK channel? Something different than what's airing the actual game? Soon as I saw your message, I changed to the game channel, and never saw him.

Re: Superbowl
Yes, they are showing it live in the UK on C4, so while we get the game footage from a US channel, we won`t have the same pre-show, linking stuff, or the adverts.NotSoPerfect wrote:Was it a UK channel? From the bit I saw when I switched over they had a British guy doing interviews in Phoenix over the last couple of days and that is what they were showing.
Re: Superbowl
Seen the brief interview with AC- watch on Channel 4 plus 1 or record-you will probably see now
You are an individual, just like everybody else.

Re: Superbowl
Actually thought this thread would be about the game. Silly me.
Anyway, any thoughts on the final play called by the Seahawks on first down on the one?
Or did anyone here even watch it?
In any case there's no way the corporate bigwig sponsors or the NFL is EVER going to ask Alice Cooper to do the halftime show, even if they were playing in his backyard.
Simply not mainsteam enough. Too many current Pop megastars that are more than happy to do it.

Re: Superbowl
I doubt many people on the board this side of the pond watched it. You have to remember it aired live here starting at 11.30pm!MrD Returns wrote:Actually thought this thread would be about the game. Silly me.

I did but to be honest I simply don`t know enough about the game. Seemed odd but it worked out for the best
Agreed. It's not even about him not being mainstream enough. When you can get the Stones, The Who or U2 with a phone call why go for someone who pulls 2-3000 a night? You are more likely to see Alice guest with one of the bigger acts if they were in Phoenix or Detroit, but the girl this year has probably barely heard of Alice so not much chance.MrD Returns wrote: In any case there's no way the corporate bigwig sponsors or the NFL is EVER going to ask Alice Cooper to do the halftime show, even if they were playing in his backyard.

Re: Superbowl
They could've handed off to Katy Perry and scored. Very stupid.kevinuk81 wrote:Never watched it live, but know Seahawks should have ran the ball, not passed it.MrD Returns wrote:Actually thought this thread would be about the game. Silly me.

Are you suggesting anyone could score with Katy Perry?MrD Returns wrote:
