Hi Dr. D.
I've seen so many posts & photo's of the BDB that I must ask this question...
Do you still play gigs with it or is it used for Studio sessions?
Thanks, D & C

Billion Dollar Bass
I've Got The Answers To All Of Your Questions...
Re: Billion Dollar Bass
The airlines used to take special care of instruments, but in recent years, even heavy duty travel cases often get damaged. My bass was lost twice, and both times, I'm the one that found it, not the airline.
That's why I asked Fender to replicate the B$Bass for touring. Thanks to Master Craftsman Paul Waller of the Fender Custom Shop, the replica is a dead ringer for the original.
But for recording, I book a direct flight and take the original.
