There is a promotional version of ACAS with four tracks, for the radio stations. The tracks are: Vegenace is mine, Catch me if you can, In touch with your feminine side and Killed by Love. One of them will be the first single, I think.

"Vengeance" is reportedly the first single that SPV's "aggressive marketing team" sent out.

It has, in fact he was playing a new song every week this week, and debuted Vengeance either last week or the week before.

He ran "Vengeance Is Mine" again on both Wednesday and Thursday night. Since that's the first track to surface both online and on his radio show, it's a safe bet that it's the first single. Here's hoping it gets some airplay elsewhere on the radio.

He should take Slash on tour in 2009, even if he needs his own "Smoking" bus, LOL!

A good choice, I hope they then follow it up with Killed By Love to show another side to the album and I also think it could be a hit single.

I think Catch Me If You Can and The One That Got Away would be good choices for singles. Or Killed By Love or Salvation for the softer side.

Where is this "aggressive marketing"??...a release in a matter of days, and no radio play.that does not auger well for success of a album.

Someone said either here or elsewhere that reportedly the singles were sent out with a request from SPV for the songs to be played this weekend.

May misunderstand the post above, but if it's saying no song has been played from ACAS on the radio it's simply not true.
At the very least NWAC has played pretty much every song from the album.

Alice will be recording three video clips/songs in the next few days (Think it was Tuesday but could be wrong). These are probably not promo videos as such, but more likely for more Web content as they are with Piggy D.

Thanks for the info!!I guess the radio monitoring system (yes.com)obviously does not include syndicated radio shows, and of course its just monitoring the US market.
