Ticketmaster promoting Leeds date. Presale supposedly started yesterday but I can't access it. That may be just as well as Andre Rieu is also advertised as playing there the same night!!

It's also only a couple of weeks after he is here with the Vampires. Seems unlikely. I've heard nothing about any solo UK dates this year.

Saw that email and thought WTF?

Would be a little presumptuous of any artist or venue to assume gigs would be operating as normal by any date this year.

It would also be disrespectful to fans to expect them to shell out for something that has a very good chance of then being cancelled.

The page for the event has now been deleted from Ticketmaster. As Tommy said, Andre Rieu was already playing that night and it would have been a strange co-headline event!
