VinceRaven wrote: That was certainly the impression given. Even on The One Show last night Alice said there's 'a Nightmare section in the middle'. Quite how a total of four songs off the combined two albums spread separately through the set adds up to a Nightmare section in the middle is anybody's guess, even if you choose to throw Go To Hell into the mix.
cheers bud, nice to know my memory's not as bad as i was beginning to think :-D

for me then, that justifies the disappointment i feel in the set list. people can throw all the clever "ooh, alice didn't vet the set list w/ us first" comments they like, but if something gets hyped and "promised", then i have a right to feel put out if that's not delivered.

Alice originally wanted to put all Welcome To My Nightmare and Welcome 2 My Nightmare songs in the middle, but settled on the idea of creating a "nightmarish" section that has songs that fit the idea of a nightmare. So, yes it's not exactly what he originally said he wanted to do, but he still considers it the "nightmare" section of the set. And yea I agree it is a little confusing that there are some Welcome 2 songs at the beginning of the set.

I Hope they add something to the show...Somekind of Death..At least the Guillotine (it is in the background so it should be on the show) ...It would be sad if Alice get "Killed" only by the Frankenstein Machine

Also slightly disappointed with the lack of W2MN stuff, but I will reserve judgement on the covers til I see em for myself. Roll on Cardiff.

edit : Having looked at the merch table, I don't think I'll be buying much. It's cheaper from AC.com, specially if you've got VIP, where you get a $50 voucher. (But only after constant nagging emails to Ground Control) Now, if they were gonna sell copies of the red stripe suit Alice is wearing, I'd defo be buying that...
You would like to buy that red stripe suit, Cherrypie? Would you wear it? Is red your color? Would it look good on you?
Of course it would. I would wear it to work, and people would gasp in amazement, and say things like 'We are not worthy'
You're right, Cherrypie. You deserve that suit.

I think it's still there, at least according to the first night setlist that was posted. I'm glad, it works brilliantly and it's so fun to sing along to!

Really? I didn't expect that to actually happen. That's great.

What did everyone think of tonight's show?

Still a work in progress. Pyro opening didn't happen tonight due to a technical error. Easily fixable but a bummer. Still tweaking the Setlist I think. To bed for now.

He's Back being added into the setlist has made me 10 times more excited than I already was. Finally a song from Constrictor is back in the setlist. Bring on Saturday!

Thanks Alice.

So great Alice Has He's Back Back in the setlist. Hope he'll add something else as he gets better of his sore throat and maybe some theatrical concept for the tour!

OMG...He's Back is officially back in the set???? There is still hope then....I love that song...anything from Constrictor and especially RYFAY would be welcomed...if He's Back can be added, then perhaps down the road, the trilogy will return? None the less, this is an awesome welcomed addition :)

I really wasn't expecting this. Not only has he added a great song from the 80's, but he's dropped one of the weakest cover songs imo.
