VIP Info
I know there are constant questions asked on here about the VIP experience, but I can't find an answer to mine. So here goes. I'm 16, and have saved up the money to do it this year, but I was wondering what form of ID I should need to collect it from the box office, as I don't yet have a Driving License and to renew my Passport would cost a lot of money on top of what I've already paid. Any ideas? Does it even have to be photo ID?

Re: VIP Info
Ground Control (who sell the tickets / VIP packages on behalf of alicecooper.com) state that Photo ID matching the name of the person on the order (the name of the person collecting the tickets, etc can be specified as part of the order process) must be presented in order to collect. There's no guarantee that the venue box office will ask for photo ID but better to be safe than sorry. A cheaper alternative to renewing your passport would be to obtain a Home Office-approved CitizenCard which I think costs about £15. If you Google it, their website should come right up.

Re: VIP Info
I've done 3 VIP's now and have yet to be asked for any ID, other than a printout of my receipt, but obviously you can't rely on that, so what Sparky says is probably a good idea just in case.
Print everything you can and take it along too. Which show are planning to do VIP at?

Thanks Sparky, I'll check that out.
I'll also print everything out too once I've ordered it, and I'm going to do it at Wolverhampton My first VIP!

Re: VIP Info
I'd take the advice given by Sparky and CherryPie. But, it also wouldn't hurt to email Ground Control and ask.

Re: VIP Info
You'll have a great time. FWIW I have been asked for photo ID just for collecting tickets as well as collecting a VIP laminate in the past (both here and in the USA) so I would never leave it to chance. The Spider wrote:Thanks Sparky, I'll check that out.

Re: VIP Info
Hey,
I've ordered it now and I have a couple more questions. It says they cannot predict how much the shipment taxes and costs etc will be. How much are they usually?
Also, when will the email come through to explain what to do after the show and the form I should hand in to collect my pass?
Thanks x

Re: VIP Info
There shouldn't be any additional shipping charges, so far as I'm aware because you're collecting it at the box office.
Your ticket / VIP package order confirmation should be sufficient to collect the laminate - not aware of any special "form" required for collection. In with the laminate when you collect it should also be a short note telling you where to congregate after the show where you'll then be met by someone from the Cooper camp who will escort you backstage for the meet n greet.

Re: VIP Info
Here is what it says exactly at the bottom of my email:
"International orders are subject to import taxes, duties and customs taxes, which are applied once your shipment reaches the country of destination. We cannot predict what your particular charges may be. For more information regarding your country's custom policies please contact your local customs office.
All taxes, duties and customs fees are the responsibility of the recipient of the package. Your local carrier can give you information on the method of payment accepted for the duties, taxes and other fees collected upon delivery."
Oh, I was under the impression they send you an email beforehand, telling you where to meet. Thanks for clearing that up
