"New interpretation" !
I was just checking out the new 'alicecooper.com' site when this paragraph from the 'Tour Terror' section sprang out on me!!!
Any ideas?
'The King of Theater Rock is making history once again, this time with a brand new interpretation of his legendary Theater of Death Show!'

I'm just hoping that this doesn't turn into a Gallagher/Watermelon fiasco...

My guess is based on the tour poster where it says they keep killing him but he keeps coming back, I'm thinking that instead of one execution at the end of the show, he's going to get killed multiple times throughout the show in all manner of ways.

Ha! That would be awesome. I hope it is as theatrical as Alice hinted and I really hope Along Came A Spider is the centerpiece. As much as I loved the show last year, I want to see something different his time.

Yes, I had heard through various whispers online stuff about Alice dying multiple times...or should I say Spider...I mean maybe if Spider is prominent theme, then maybe he is attacked by his victims or something (the one that got away?), the police, the doctors, etc...who knows? This tour has the potential to be his best one theatrically yet.....CAN'T WAIT TO BE THERE JULY 31

Re: "New interpretation" !
Alice did say somewhere in an interview recently - can't remember where, though I have a feeling it was "in person" rather than "in print" that,
"I die like, five times in this show" (or words to that effect). We all know of course that Alice has something of a reputation for exaggeration but yeah - I guess it could tie in with the phrasing used on the recent ads for the tour.

Re: "New interpretation" !
I wondered that when I read it as well. When was the original?? How was it legendary?!?
Odd think to say as it sounds like he's rehashing an old production, which as far as we understand isn`t the case at all!

Agreed, after what has been implied about a 'new show',it would be a little disappointing. However, I for one will try and remain optimistic!

Re: "New interpretation" !
I think the person who wrote that may just have made a slight mistake in the wording. I assumed that they probably meant to say that the King of Theatre Rock who has done great death theatre in the past (gallows, guillotine, etc.) is going to provide another new death theatre show featuring new methods of death. I just assumed the person who wrote it didn't pay enough attention to the wording.
I guess we'll have to wait and see.....

The amendment has been made! Phew!

Sweet Alice need a more theatrical then the last tour...I still loved the Psycho Drama show (it was the first time I saw him live). But I love watching the stuff like the Brutally live tour even more!

Re: "New interpretation" !
I agree, more theatrics would be cool, however nothing wrong with the last three tours either. It's rockin' out or trying to catch everything that's happening on the stage that's the balance for me. I'm good either way.Prince Alice wrote:Sweet Alice need a more theatrical then the last tour...I still loved the Psycho Drama show (it was the first time I saw him live).
