First Look at Album Packaging?

In the link NSP posted:

Click on "The Album" near the top right of the welcome page with the giveaway guidelines, etc. It shows what appears to be a glimpse at the inside packaging.

I looks pretty awesome to me, hopefully those that haven't liked the album so far will be won over.

Got to say this is the best promotion a label has done for Alice in ages. There seems to be a buzz and some momentum going with ACAS. It's been a long time coming.

I don't deny that the page is cool looking, and it's very cool. But if setting up an artist page for Alice is the "best promotion a label has done in ages" then that's not exactly saying much.

Wow, that's just awesome.I think they are doing a great job with the promotion and continuing theme of this product.I can't say anything about the music though, still waiting for the 29th to come.

Your right that is not saying much, but compared to what New West or Spitfire did, ACAS is way ahead. Somebody seems to be doing it right. You Tube and the My Space promotions are the way to go now days. The days of payola at radio stations most likely will not work since what passes for music on radio is pitiful and in Alice's case a waste of time and effort. The giant Alice cut out at Wal-Mart probably won't work either. The videos by Piggy D are outstanding and just about everyone is hooked up to the net these days. You Tube and My Space seem to be where a lot of people hangout. Somebody is thinking and doing right.

The credit for 99% of what you're seeing can be attributed to Alice's people and Black Victory.

At this point, we had seen more from New West than we have from SPV as far as that goes. And I don't mean to seem like I keep ragging on SPV either, but it's true though, (but the Pinball Game is a very nice step in the right direction though.. now we need to see print ads, etc!)

What an extraordinary thing to post. In case you didn't know (and I think you do, which why the sentence above stood out), the practise you refer to is illegal.

Illegal, yes, but some of the great rock and roll songs in the 1950s were discovered as a result of Payola.

Alan Freed, a DJ convicted for Payola only played the music if it was good.

WYM Said: "now we need to see print ads, etc!"

As mentioned on the news page, they are already happening in the UK. Full page back cover on the new classic rock, which is probably the best magazine in the country for Alice to be advertised in as anyone buying it should be interested in his type of music. The review inside is also a rave which again should help.

Oops, fair enough. Classic Rock is of course carried in the U.S. as well (though I would assume the release date mentioned is a U.K. release date?) I think DD was in had an add in it as well.

That's not the point, though.
