Promo Trailer #2

Post by GailsFriend » Fri Jul 11, 2008 5:57 pm

Well, it's Friday the 11th.....and I am waiting for the new promo trailer. Listening to all these people complain about the new Alice Cooper album is rather entertaining...because I am sure they are wrong.

Just waiting.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, don't think it's a matter of being right or wrong. :)
If I may put forward a slice of personal colostomy...

I just saw it. Incredible.
Alice Cooper is a master at marrying visuals with his music. The reason why people's opinions at this time are incorrect is because no one---NO ONE--has the complete picture of this album.

I believe/suspect that the entire album will be married to the visuals, which could include performances on tour.

Correct, "everyone is entitled to their opinion", but all opinions at this time are premature, because the information is incomplete---all will be revealed soon.....and then people will change their views....both positive and negative.

Everyone should wait. Just wait. I think this is going to be amazing.

My opinion is based on the album. I do have the "complete picture" of it. Sorry, but no amount of promotion is going to change what I think of the album itself. I've said it before.....these pictures are awesome! The best we have seen in a LONG time! The first promo video was cool as well. Doesn't save the music for me though.

Well one thing is for sure, this is the most promotion I have seen for an Alice record in many years. And they are doing it right by targeting YouTube and My Space. Somebody finally seems to be doing their job.

Yeah I reckon so too but all these vids have been Piggy D's work so he's been mostly responsible for bringing all this to life through youtube.

I credit him for this, rather than Alice.

I'm new here, so sorry for the lack of introduction.

but..."stink filled" ??

Piggy D and Gabrielle have made it an exciting time for Alice fans...and by themselves it seems. I'm grateful.

am I alone here?

Less hype and better songs would have been appreciated.

I guess I was wrong I thought this was a place for Alice Cooper fans?

I'll leave it to you all then to download torrents of an album that you didn't make or pay for and rip it apart in your mums basement.

Best of luck with that.

Who said that no one pre-ordered or no-one will be buying the album?

Nope. I'm sure they have.

I guess I expected more from Alice fans. Not a lot of rockers his age are still relevant. Seems like a cause for celebration and a little less complaining to me.

I think this is just a filler promo. I'm hoping the video on the 25th(the last one) is a music video!

wow....seems like a lot of people have already made up their minds about the music without holding the album in their hands. Kinda sad. Maybe it will all tie in together and be really different.

I think it is cool that alice and his people are doing this in a more computer friendly way.
There is something really punk rock about the videos and such and I like them a lot.

Some have made up their minds, some haven't. The trouble is... some have heard the album a million times, some have only surfed the sound clips and some haven't done a thing yet in terms of listening. Makes for interesting dynamics. ;)

We'll see where everyone stands in late July and onward. Maybe opinions will shift, no worries if they do or don't.
If I may put forward a slice of personal colostomy...

I guess the fact that the internet has killed that moment of holding an album in your hand and really getting to experience it all at once is what I worry about.

The art and songs together...the whole mystique of what Alice creates. He has always been about the package and I think IMO it is selling the whole thing a bit short to not wait until they have the whole thing in front of them before they make the call.

I dunno.....
