European 2025 Tour
More dates seem to surface regarding the new tour! German and Swiss shows till now seem quite promising about a schedule similar to last year.

Re: European 2025 Tour
Great news. Let’s hope it is a new show. Has he brought the “Too close for comfort” twice in London?

Yes, two shows at Hammersmith Apollo in October.Holly Grail wrote: ↑Mon Dec 09, 2024 11:26 amGreat news. Let’s hope it is a new show. Has he brought the “Too close for comfort” twice in London?
There's suggestions these could be dates that were originally booked as Hollywood Vampires shows. So maybe they kept the London booking and roped Judas Priest in as an incentive, as I can't see why there'd be a London show so soon after the last one. Or perhaps Priest roped Alice in after discovering he was now free.

Re: European 2025 Tour
Disappointed that it looks like the HV tour has been cancelled. I’m guessing it will be the same ol’ tour , shame, woulda been the perfect time to do a short OG theatre tour if there’s no HV tour.

Sat right in front of them at the Alice gig at Glasgow Hydro either in 2017 or 2022. Surreal evening with a drunk and chatty Winston from Still Game behind my wife and Phil behind my mate. Really friendly nice guys.

Re: European 2025 Tour
Two UK dates!
Alice Cooper is set to return to the UK for the first time in three years with a gig at the Edinburgh Playhouse in July.
The rock and roll hall of fame inductee will be joined by his band as they perform in the Scottish capital on Wednesday, July 23.
The Edinburgh date marks the Poison singer’s return to the venue for the first time in more than 20 years.
His only other UK gig will take place in Cardiff on the night before the gig in Edinburgh.
He said: "Cardiff and Edinburgh - you can't escape! We missed you last year, but now we're coming back. Alice would never let you down. Can't wait to see all the Sick Things at our shows at Utilita Arena in Cardiff on July 22nd and the Edinburgh Playhouse on July 23rd.
“For ‘Road’, I wanted the band to be involved in the foundation of all the songs.
“I only see these guys when we’re on the road. So, I wanted them to be as tight as they are for the show but on all new material. When you have a band this good, I believe in showing it off, and this is my way of doing so.”

Re: European 2025 Tour
No mailout about Edinburgh/Cardiff? I was expecting an announcement with presale info, aren't the presales tomorrow?
I managed to get 2nd row of the stalls at the Playhouse in 2001, by phoning the venue and speaking to somebody in the box office. I had a look, but now it is owned by ATG they don't even have a number listen on their website - just an email address :-/

Re: European 2025 Tour
Delighted to see this.
I was talking myself out of the O2 gig due to cost and not being too bothered by Judas Priest nowadays. Edinburgh is different. A theatre, a sellout and a good vibe...plus the pubs and able to get home after the gig. I'm in.

Re: European 2025 Tour
Email with the presales is out. Just got a couple of tickets in the front section of the Edinburgh Playhouse stalls through the artist presale. The AXS Premium prices are much higher.

Re: European 2025 Tour
in 2001, second row at the Playhouse cost me £18.50 - second row this year is £645 from what I saw earlier (had a brief look while I was at a gig, I'm home now and the site is down "for scheduled maintenance").
I think I'm now finally done - no other band* pulls this shit every single tour, and all the joy of trying to obtain tickets is gone.
*Or his management, if you want to argue semantics. My point stands. I've been to over 500 gigs across genres and of all venue sizes and nobody else does this.

Re: European 2025 Tour
I saw that the Amsterdam show is mentioned as “Too close for comfort” tour, when I clicked to see the tickets. Well maybe the hopes for a new show are decreased, hope something changes .
Re: European 2025 Tour
I’m afraid you are wrong there. My niece has this experience with almost every gig she goes to. If it’s not Golden Circle tickets at over £400, then it’s Golden Circle meet and greet at £500 plus. A different generation, different bands but same outcome. Sad thing is that she sees it as normal.jram wrote: ↑Thu Jan 30, 2025 12:27 amin 2001, second row at the Playhouse cost me £18.50 - second row this year is £645 from what I saw earlier (had a brief look while I was at a gig, I'm home now and the site is down "for scheduled maintenance").

Re: European 2025 Tour
For those trying for Edinburgh tickets this morning ATG seem to have most of the tickets
Re: European 2025 Tour
The ordering process stalled three times and I lost my tickets each time. Started with tickets in the row G and ended up in row X. Not happy but at least I got them. Looks like a sell out v soon.
Re: European 2025 Tour
I'm leaning more towards club gigs only now. My niece couldn't believe it when I told her I saw a band in January this year "and tickets were a tennner" - her gig experience is one arena and one stadium, for mainstream artists.del wrote: ↑Fri Jan 31, 2025 9:13 amI’m afraid you are wrong there. As for Alice, I looked in the artist presale, AXS presale, general sale, and then decided there were no seats worth the £100+ it would cost with travel on top. I'll be sad to miss him, first time in 25 years, but I'm not doing this any more. His ticketing system sucks.
