Yes, and I think/hope it's the same thing.
We know Ezrin produced 'Detroit Stories' which is the next AC album, so seems unlikely there would be a another AC album so quickly after that.

Did Desmond also grow a fancy mustache?

considering the last song they co wrote was "I am made of you" (which is one of the best alice songs ever) I am happy to see this. Desmond is a great producer and song writer, I know allot of you hate "hair metal" but I love trash and many other albums desmond was involved with in the 80s/90s. I am excited for this.

Desmond Child posted two pics from Alice today, and he wrote, that Alice and Bob Ezrin visited him a few weeks ago to write some new music together. Exciting.

Maybe, maybe not.
Considering he has some great writers in his touring band & also Bruce, Dunaway & Smith.

I don't like the last few Alice albums, so this will probably be a good thing.

Not bothered either way about working with Desmond Child but I want the promised album with the touring band first.

Amen to that. I would hope that idea didn’t get shelved a couple of months after he said it.

For the record that Blabbermouth article is from July of last year. Hopefully it’s for Desmonds album and not Alice’s.

I think Child just posted new photos of Alice at his house saying he and Ezrin had been there last week for writing session.

The plan for that album was to record it on tour. (and write it, too, while together? I can't recall that bit.)
So...it's impossible to start actual song production on such a thing, until the time frame arrives.

Maybe we will get the geriatric Alice Bon Jovi. It would be a great visual to Alice in that ridiculous nail jacket and an adult diaper.

Correct, so I’ll be less than impressed if I hear nothing coming out of the upcoming tour. I want to hear stories of band collaboration and working up some tunes together.
