I don't think Wal-mart and Targets are carrying the new album. I went to Walmart.com and they don't even have it listed. It seems a lot of the Best Buys and the remaining music stores are carrying it.

I don't even bother going to find any albums in stores these days. I hate dealing with Best Buy unless it's an absolute must.

I pre-order all my CD purchases from Amazon. With Amazon Prime membership, they arrive on release day.

Picked up my copy at Walmart. Walmart.ca has it listed. That's in Canada tho.
If I may put forward a slice of personal colostomy...

I was yesterday in Brussels (U2 concert) and there were plenty of vinyl / boxset and cds for sale.
Never saw a new album from Cooper so much advertisted and displayed.

Hi!
in France it sounds good too, on amazon.fr Alice was around #6 on CD - Vinyles general category and felt down to 22 and was #1 for rock, sales are going well as all copies are sold in many places from what i saw and knows.

The surprises me considering how well it has done on Amazon and for a few days on I-Tunes. W2MN debuted at Number 23 and its Amazon and I-Tune rankings were lower than this album. I realize other sales are factored in but I definitely expected a Top 20 ranking for the first week. As of Tuesday according to Daily Hits it was Number 16 and its highest peak was 3. It may have dropped some since then.

Was there to buy a watch battery and an aquarium pirate-ship. Then saw a Johnny Paycheck Classic Years CD, THEN saw Paranormal. Everything was coming up Shoey that day.

With the box set amazon gave a free download, I'm wondering if they count that twice? Having said that I assume lots of cd purchases would also get a free download so there wouldn't really be an advantage!

Delighted with the chart positions so far. To me the charts will always have importance. They spur on the promotional activity and give some profile where it wasn't there before.

The big question for me now is, if enough copies are sold will this force a couple more tracks into the set list for the tour? Hope so because at this rate a reasonable % of the crowd might actually know the album pretty well.

Congrats to Alice, and all involved, on the successes - and to earMusic for pushing Paranormal.
