Every woman has a name

Post by Keith1980 » Mon May 25, 2015 4:21 am

All i can say is this song should be placed permanently in hislive show. If i had more then 2 thumbs id raise them all up.

For this song to have not been a number 1 hit PROVES radio is dead

Awful song he could right in his sleep. Alice by the numbers writing the obligatory ballad. Brutal Planet plays better without it.

That song is embarrassing, among the worst AC has ever put onto an album

From pitkin88:
"Brutal Planet plays better without it."

How lucky for you that it isn't on that album.

I've always found Brutal Pla..........I mean DRAGONTOWN , a bit of a trudge to play all the way through .......it's really hard going ......

And then the " obligatory " ballad with the word " WOMAN " in the title comes late in the album , almost hidden away ......

I remember dreading listening to it , in fear of just another version of TAKE IT LIKE A WOMAN , , or worse , an awful fake mawkfest like "ONLY MY HEART TALKING"

By the time Alice sang " Housewives crying on the phone " I was convinced he'd written one of his most genuine heartfelt ballads ....

Best track on that album by a mile , and I agree , it should be heard by a wider audience ......

One of my favorite Alice ballads, genuinely moving. And I'm not a fan of most of them.

Songs like this one, to me, come across as vincent is writing and performing. Its a song with heart. Alice doesnt have a heart lol. I see alot of his music like that. Another great one is hell is living without you. Its like vince and alice are in a fight lol.

As great a song as Only Women Bleed is I wish he had never wrote it as it gave birth to a lot of awful mush. This one is just a lazy knock off as is Take It Like A Woman.

No-usually it's because it's just another area where their husbands aren't satisfying their needs.

I happen to like both of those songs.

I see the Negative Nancy's are out in full force again.

Someone caught a pic of them in action...
