Just got to hear it thanks to a benign gentlemen here. It is not horrible but it's not really good either. Bit shmaltzy and over produced. It feels like something he could have written in his sleep and wisely it was not placed on an album. The thrill of wanting to hear something is often better than actually hearing it.

I heard it agsin and I still like it. Of course it's a demo, With a producer on time could have made it until the album. It's also a playable song, kind of to medley with Gutter Cats

It's definitely in demo form, same as Chemical Reaction.

Also heard it thanks to a kind user, of this was really recorded for Hey Stoopid, that made The right decision not to include it. IMO it wouldn't have fit The album's flow

This kind of goes back to a discussion from a few months ago on this board regarding unreleased material. I think people would generally be disappointed in "unreleased songs" that were cut from respective their albums. There is, after all, a reason they didn't make it.

Has the precident not been set already though? By this I mean some of the material on the two box sets.
We probably agree though that this kind of material only has appeal to a smaller part of the fan base whilst possibly disjointing things for more casual followers.

Well there is a demand and they also help with the sales of re issues. Under The Bed is a great example of a top class song not making an album.

That is slightly different though in that by releasing them that way, they aren't part of the albums they were intended for. Also, if you're referring to "Old School" as one of "the two box sets", there are no previously unreleased songs on there.

Yes, I was referring to Old School as one of the sets Andy. Some of the content, I'd say, is definitely in the 'obscure' category.
Personally, I enjoyed listening to it but it may not have been to everyone's liking.

Again, that's different to the song we're discussing. None of those songs were left off albums.

Nope, you're correct.
The demo for He's Back from the L&CoAC is a better example.

No, I think that ended up as "Trick Bag" on "Constrictor". I think "Call It Evil" would be more appropriate.

I think the 'He's Back' example is a good one as essentially the same song was provided twice in a row on that boxset. Great for fans interested in rarer material but perhaps not so appealing to a more casual fan (who this boxset may have appealed to more than Old School).
I accept that the 'Trick Bag' version of He's Back sounded like a complete track, unlike the demo that this thread is about though.

If you say so but the thread is actually about a song that has never been released in any form.

With all honesty after giving it a couple days of listening, its not that bad of a song, but it wouldn't really fit Hey Stoopid as said by others. The tune itself reminded me of "From The Inside" album thanks to the piano but I think the song's meaning would be perfect for the "Trash" album.

How did i miss this!?!?
Dont suppose anybody out there is still kind enough to help a alice cooper fan out are they? would love to hear this.
Will we ever get to hear the left off tracks for all these albums do you think?
The last temptation ones always interested me the most (being one of his best albums in my opinion)
Its important to have a dream
