good decision re keeping voice rested...funny enough one publication reported Alice as being at premiere...probably written in advance...glad he chose live show over schmoozing...really enjoyed jools holland show performance...enjoyed Bite your face off more than I expected...now for under my wheels tomorrow night

>also showed clip of Is It My Body from OGWT 71 during short interview with Jools.

That was a great moment, what with it being in the same building.

>Andy would have been there

Yes.

>and will no doubt let us know.

No!

Another reason why you shouldn't believe everything you read (unless I post it, of course).

I meant let us know the other song Alice played, but the website mentioned it anyway.

That studio is great was amazing to be at recording of Buzzcocks last year and think that I was in the same room as that OGWT performance

Well the recording of the extended version of Jools Holland has just aired, what did you think?

Musically even better performances than the live show that broadcast Tuesday.

Vocally Bite Your Face Off was Alice's best, his sore throat made School's Out & Wheels a bit of a struggle and unlike a live show you notice it more on TV.

No rebroadcast of the interview/ Is It My Body clip this time.

All in all despite some vocal issues a good performance.

Completely agree with your summary. And Under My Wheels is such prominent song in my life that it was joyous to see the performance there. Alice and the band looked every bit the stars they are.

sounded great as id expect, i gotta say..when Ill bite your face off was first released my opinion was: "Yeah..Its Good, But Nowhere Near as Strong As vengeance Is Mine as a Lead Single From An Album" BUUUT man has my opinion ever changed, ive heard it live 3 times since and it comes across live sooo well, it really gets me pumped up like its an old classic, and you can see Alice and the band get a major kick out of it.

Alice has gone into Suffragette City live before during wheels as part of the song shares the same generic A to F chord change and Wheels came first!

The Pres B studio at the BBC that the OGWT Alice Cooper was recorded in closed in 1996 so even the Jools Holland appearance wasn't in the same studio either as it doesn't exist, but I'm wondering if that sacred space was used in part of a bigger redevelopment so actually that space became part of a bigger studio.

Pres B studios was rebuilt with Pres A into a transmission suite.

An expert on the history of the BBC studios has gone into considerable depth about it all!
