Alice Cooper Brady ( The spirit of halloween)
So this year for Halloween I am buying a Maid Outfit...just like the one the maid Alice wore in the 70 tv series the Brady Bunch and going to be Alice Brady Cooper.
I have a friend that is good applying make-up but I would hate the make-up to smear. I wonder what Alice uses when he applies his makeup.
Anyways..I thought along with this costume,,,I am going to buy a wig so my head of hair is more suited to Alice Coopers. I want to carry a laundry basket full of clothing, doll parts & snakes.

Great idea. I love checking out all the great costumes at AC concerts. I normally just wear the eye make-up, but it's still enough to make people cross the street when I'm walking by lol.

I heard him say once that he uses greasepaint...or is that what that is Andy? I bow to your superior knowledge, LOL.A_MichaelUK wrote:>I wonder what Alice uses when he applies his makeup.#

Well, I have no idea if Alice does it (somehow I doubt it since it's not uncommon to see smeared make-up pictures), but if you use greasepaint/creme makeup you can set it with powder (for example baby powder or a more expensive professional stage makeup product - apply with brush!).
It will dull the color slightly, so it will look more matte but is more smear- and water-resitant when set properly. Which measn it's also difficult to remove, you'll need an oil-based makeup remover for that.
If you use aqua-makeup or regular makeup you could use a special barrier spray underneath to make it more moisture-resitant and set it with liquid fixative - the cheaper solution is use hair spray to set it (I've gotten good results but keep your eyes closed and hold your breath - and don't use too much since it could start running).

It isn't just what he wears around his eyes - he wears a foundation as well.

Most good fancy dress/costume hire shops sell eye liner ad other make ups to suit your needs. I found the assistants happy to help me when I dressed my step daughter up as Alice for her school disco, and my daughter when she came with me to see Alice. Pop into your local hire shop I am sure they'll sort you out.

Blimey must get some of that stuff- mine is all gone at the first sign of heat. He works up a hell of a sweat onstage, and it usually seems to last the whole 90 mins.A_MichaelUK wrote:>I heard him say once that he uses greasepaint...or is that what that is Andy?
