and I just read in an interview that he can't shock the audience anymore these days... well, congrats Alice, you just did.

I think she is 'current'.

I think she is a 'babe' - (exceptionally attractive!).

And I think perhaps most of the people saying 'who' will be saying that about Alice, not her, but not for long!

He has of course duetted with other artists outside of his own genre - (Betty Wright, Xhibit, etc.?) and I like that; in so doing he removes or extends his boundaries, and brings his name to a wider field.

Alice is no fool; he knows what he is doing.

As for who, she's pretty darned well-known in pop culture and popular music. I'd suspect, at least in the US, that there are a lot more people who know she's currently making music than Alice. they might know him and love, but there's still a lot of people that don't realize he's still doing new stuff.

The way I read the reports was that it was two seperate things, which were mentioned at the same time.
I could be incorrect and it could be both on the saem track on Slash's album. I really don`t know any more then what was in teh initial report.

Always good to see Alice out of his usual zone ... and likewise for other artists. I haven't known many people who enjoy rock and pop.. (most 'rockers' I've known stay away from pop as much as poss.

I think it will work, granted Betty Wright was a great singer with soulful hits like 'Clean Up Woman' before she duetted with Alice on 'No Tricks' and I wouldn't put The Doll in the Pussycats in her or Marcy Levy's league (The voice of Millie on that other great Alice with a female duet) who later became Marcella Detroit of Shakespears Sister, but it will sell.

I'd like to see Alice record a duet with Kate Bush, now that really would be something!

Any idea if the bonus with Alice will be available as a separate item? At the moment I can't afford this package, and by the time I have the money all copies will have gone. As I understand, it's a limited edition so it won't last long, or maybe I got that wrong?
