I am shocked & saddened. Brian had been hooking me up for the better part of the last 20 years with tickets, passes, you name it.

With nearly 60 AC shows under my belt and tons of meet and greets, he helped feed my fever for the Coop! He was always generous and honest with me (and my lucky guest). I could go on and on.

All of this because he was intrigued by a letter I wrote to Alice in 1987.

If I hadn't said it enough to him before, I have to say it one more time..."Thanks for everything Brian".

While I have never met him or anything, it is very sad news. My heart goes out to everyone involved.

sad news indeed

brian was a man of his word hooking us up with that first special meet & greet with alice for me and no1son those years ago.

i know he prompted polarised opinions amongst people but i always found him interested in the peculiarities of the sheep guy...

thinking of you BN

This was a complete shock! Brian and I had met over the years about 2 or 3 times at the concerts...I bought from him a copy from Japan of From the Inside on cd when I was having trouble finding one...he sold me his spare. After bugging him for years, he helped me make my dream come true last year with the first of my 3 meetings with Alice...Brian was an amazing man...a great sense of humor...and of course the biggest fan of the master...Brian...you will be missed...R.I.P.

I questioned a lot of what he did regarding the back catalogue but from all accounts here he seemed like a good man. My condolences to his family. Hopefully Alice can find someone to carry on the good work.

This is such a shock and such a great tragedy.

I am completely lost for words.

Having met him only once when he assured me he 'knew' me, by my e-mail address!, he was - as everyone has said - consistently more than willing to help out with an Alice related problem, if he could.

He will be so deeply missed by so many.

I'm shocked and saddened, I don't know much about the guy but he was the definative 'Cooper Trooper' and an incredible assistant the Coop. :-(

Wholly crap! I was fortunate to have met Brian more than a few times and he recognized me on sight, so I guess you could say that I got to know him a little bit. I always had a lot of respect for him and his job and was fortunate to get some passes from him a while ago.

It sounds like there is a lot of missing information on what the heck happened though. Someone his age should not be passing away so suddendly! So sad.

Sad fact of life unfortunately. We can all go at any time, just like that.

Now we have to find a way to make sure his work never is forgotten. This site's existance is certainly a fitting tribute to what is undoubtedly a small portion of his life's work.

"Someone is never really gone unless you find a way to remember them."

I was out during the day with my family and I just returned home to read this tragic news. I considered Brian to be my friend and I am just too devastated to say more at this moment.

I am still in shock over this. This is the last thing I ever expected to happen any time soon. Brian was a good guy, and was always completely kind and generous to me. He had a weird sense of humor that I always appreciated. And, as a Cooper fan, you just HAD to respect the guy. I think a lot of fans really looked up to him, and I know several, including myself, that had moved him from "some guy associated with Alice Cooper" to friend status.

Really.... this breaks my heart.

I saw the post in my rss feed and held of reading till now. I didn't expect to see this. I just met him recently at a meet and greet. He saw the severed Alice head I brought to the concert and I told me how he really liked it. I could tell by the way he said it that he was very passionate about Alice. He was a pretty cool guy and while he whooshed Alice away from me while I was trying to talk to him (lol), hes still very much a part of the Alice legacy that will be missed.
RIP BRN.

It was so shocking to hear this sad news today and I still feel shocked. I had met Brian 3 times and as everybody else I think that he was a very nice person, helping the fans as much as he could while also being very good at his job. The Alice Cooper crew will never be the same again. R.I.P. Brian!

Malice, it is posted on alicecooper.com. It's extremely sad, but it is official.

Also, it has made it to other net news.
