Post by recoop » Wed Sep 24, 2008 5:05 pm

Might be old news but I input Alice Cooper and Friends to You Tube and saw show in four parts..about 35 mins total..never seen before..think only Alice was Schools Out ..lot of Nazareth but interesting..looks a big gig..undure whether 50,000 each day...looks like it to me from 77 ish?

I really wish the elements could be found. All I've seen is very worn vhs clips. I'd like to see this if not for Alice’s high alcohol abuse but this sounds like the most innovative stage performance he's played in.

I actually have the official VHS tape for this - in good condition. It's a shocking peformance, the show looks great, but Alice is completely wasted. I'll bet he doesn't remmeber anything of this show at all!???

I got the VHS too, the stuff posted on you tube in four parts under Alice and Friends only shows Alice doing School's Out.

Alice and Friends Part 1

The video had 7 other Alice performances Is It My Body, Under My Wheels, Billion Dollar Babies, You And Me, Only Women Bleed, Lace And Whiskey, and I Love The Dead.

But the best bit does appear on You Tube elsewhere

Lace & Whiskey (feat Chickens with Machine Guns)

You can also find

You and Me
Lead guitar on Social Debris. Album on iTunes, Amazon & Spotify, title track featured on TV

I haven't seen any of this. I will be watching this weekend...just to see. No time right now. Thanks for posting. As a die hard Alice fan...I may cry. :/

re steven crayns post in particular...thanks for you and me/chickens lace and whiskey..whilst he seems to be suffering like Amy Winehouse...the performances I have seen so far arent as bad as I expected after hearing other comments are the remainder of the other tracks the real baddies and how can I see.
