It will be interesting to see if the Stooges get inducted by the induction committee. They have been nominated before but the induction committee tends to favour the "household names" and rock acts that have had bigger hits. One of the reasons that Alice Cooper hasn't been nominated is because the "experts" feel that the Stooges were before Alice Cooper on the Detroit scene and want the Stooges to be inducted first. So it will be interesting to see if the Stooges do get inducted, if the nominating committee decides, in their infinite wisdom, that Alice Cooper can finally be nominated.

I can't help but think that there are people or a person on that board who does not like Alice at all. Someone offended somehow or very ignorant is not allowing his name to appear on the ballots....it would seem. Adding groups that are not even RnR then adds a whole new array of candidates and controversy.

I would like to just hear their reason of how or why Alice is not good enough.
