how many fotographers does it take to......

i had the pleasure of meeting fellow alice cooper photographer, ken ballard, while in vegas. i first met ken many years ago and i didn't even recognize him, however, he spotted me right away. if you don't already know, ken has been photographing alice since 1973, even going so far as traveling with alice and being part of the 'show.' ken is most known for his alice photos from 86-90. his photos are used over and over for merchandise and such. ken hasn't been photographing alice much in the past 10+ years, however, he still enjoys photography in general. he lives in thailand where he's a professional guide. please check out his site and send him nice message!

Nice!

I actually have one of his photos as a poster above my desk here. From the 97 tour. It's Alice in his straight jacket, and a handwritten phrase saying "I need a side show, some kind of creep show", with a signature.

i believe he also did all of the photos on the 'trashes the world' and 'nightmare returns' video artwork. he has some photos in the dragontown tour book, and yes, one of his best shots is alice in the straight jacket from the trash tour. they've used that on shirts and a poster.

Well, if he took the picture of the trashes the world cover, then I have one big poster of that pic above my bed.
These good little shocks must be working I’m so happy now

not sure if he would take that as a compliment, or not. i now laugh when i told you to simply 'look for the guy with the camera.'
