Another bloody chance gone begging, promote the new album in the chat, then get Elected played live. I love Elected, but Alice should have told them AIR THE NEW TRACK OR I'LL CUT ALL OF YOUR FREAKIN' LEGS OFF !!! I'm afraid for me anyway, Alice looked like a caricature of himself last night during that song, looked a bit bloated too. I know, he's 60 years old and i hope i'm that fit when i'm that age, maybe i'm just pining for the old days.

Thanks for the links, I loved the interview. He is so damn funny.

BUT, what is UP with the echo? It sounded terrible and totally took away from the song. Have they done that in the recent concerts? Were any sickthings in the audience at the Craig. F. show taping?

I'm just wondering which one of you Sickies gave Alice that god awful hat in Vegas that he gave to Craig. And I was also wondering where I could pick one up for myself.
Cooper took the stage, put on the best rock show since Gloria Estefan/Miami Sound Machine in 1987.

echo

Post by Give the kid a break » Fri Sep 12, 2008 10:43 am

When I listened to the interview the sound was fine.

On the second link for Elected there was an echo thru the entire song. Was it just my computer? It was very obvious, you wouldn't miss it if you heard it. Maybe it's the link?

Awful interviewer, I'm sorry to say. Each time I see clips from this show the guests are more or less irrelevant.

That hat was scarier than anything Alice could ever do.

I disagree about Ferguson's interview style. I think he is a great interviewer and is easily my favorite late night talk show host. Leno, on the other hand, I can't stand.

Can't agree with that... I find Ferguson's show intolerable... incredibly unfunny... and would never watch it unless Alice is on there.

I'll give him props for having Alice on so many times though.

As an entertainer I'd give him the credit, he can be funny. But as an interviewer - he seems to play purely for laughs, and I find that annoying. Things Alice says he seems to treat more as a setup for a joke rather than anything else and I prefer the interviews where the quality is not measured laughs per minute, but how things are balanced out.

(anyone else think this is a more interesting interview? : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4JQ2C25jMG0 , or even http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbyaIhjqM-g)

But happy to see the talk of his exclusion in the r'n'r hall of fame.
