Alice and Whistle Pig

Post by Dannorama » Wed Jan 01, 2025 4:48 pm

Just got an email from the Alice Cooper account, and it was kind of surprising. The subject line was "A Different Kind of Show This January…" Figuring it was about Orianthi, I had a look. It was not about Orinathi.
Alice is selling whiskey.
This photo struck me odd because Alice is notoriously sober. However, as you read through the ad, it is for a new alcohol-free whiskey. The really interesting thing is that there is a very limited edition of "Breadcrumbs" that they are selling. It appears that there is liquid inside the record, which is a gimmic that a few have done, but it is a first for Alice. There are only 250 units for sale, and it ain't cheap.

Quite a way to kick off 2025, huh? Happy New Year, everyone.

PS: I'm digging the heavier makeup, and there's that belt again!

Love the vinyl and the unique cover, no doubt will become a pricey collectors piece.

As pricey as it is if I did not already own Breadcrumbs I would go for it. But as a Scot I cannot get my head around the whisky.

Great find though

Alcohol free whiskey and a gimmick edition of Breadcrumbs...a dream pairing all for the low price of $199.99 USD.

Having just saturated myself with the odd dram or five over Hogmanay I’m on the wagon now but I’ll be paying £1.99 for my alcohol free amber nectar - Irn Bru.

Unless I've read this wrong, the alcohol free booze is $49.99, so the limited edition Breadcrumbs is $150.00!!

I'm guessing 250 units for the bundle is about right, or maybe even a little excessive, as there can only be a small number of individuals worldwide that are prepared to splash that cash.

I'd be interested to know if any of the serious collectors on here are intending to go for it?

I would be interested, but I'm not willing to risk the (big) chance of it getting smashed during shipping. I saw someone complaining about a record of this kind that broke while being shipped inside the US, international shipping only adds more risk. So, a pass to me.
These good little shocks must be working I’m so happy now

Somewhere I read that it did have a small alcohol content of 0.5% I believe. I've been sober for quite some time and there is no way I would risk it. I wonder if Alice has. Back in the day I would have drank the whole bottle and if needed would have broken the record to get the whiskey out of it too
