Allmost at my home. Shame I was hit two times with import duties.
This is what I was worried about.
Mestreech is in Holland though. All the UK drops seem to have made it through unhindered.
Yes, I'm aware of that, but it IS my fear.
I have now bitten the bullet, so will wait and see.

The second album with the peeled back versions is worth paying a couple of duties for, believe me….and the notes from the players are a brilliant read

Mine arrived today. No extra duties. Only played the first disk so far but it sounds fantastic and the packaging is amazing. I hummed and hawed about buying this but I am really glad I did.

I had no duties to pay in the UK.
Very happy with the overall cost for both (£70 including shipping).

Close! There are plenty of good nuggets in the booklet, but that's not the one I meant. I respect your ability to keep secrets! (Feel free to PM me if you like)
Is there some reason we're now keeping secrets on an Alice Cooper forum where we discuss Alice Cooper?
Certainly, not everyone is going to buy this album for the umpteenth time.

Okay... here's a SPOILER ALERT. If you want to discover the secrets on your own, DON'T READ THIS.

Neal Smith did not play drums on the released version of "Crazy Little Child." The familiar name of the drummer is Allan Schwartzberg, who would appear on 2 subsequent Alice Cooper solo albums.
....I feel dirty now.

But... I knew that already - was that not common knowledge or am I just imagining that I knew that... was it mentioned here on this site, or in Chris Suttons book, or... somewhere.
Either way, no need to feel dirty. lol
My disc is almost here. What was nice is that it was shipped not far from me (rare luck, as they always seem to have to ship from the opposite end of the country from me... which I know, folks who live outside of the States are thinking "cry me a river" - but it was a sweet change from the norm). It should be in my hands, and in my ears, tomorrow. Looking forward to it.

While it would be wrong to say it was common knowledge, it WAS known, and was discussed here before.

As big a of fan as I am, this was news to me. The info was not relayed through any of the known sources I am accustomed to. Always a learning experience here!

I’m pretty sure it was even mentioned that Neal didn’t play on it in Michael’s book although the drummer wasn’t named

Just in time for Christmas! Newly announced autographed editions are going to be available through TalkShopLive.[/url]
I wish I'd have known earlier. I just can't justify buying this album yet again.
That is taking the piss a little. They must know many people will have already bought it. It should have been done when it was released not a month later.

Yeah, this sort of thing is rotten. It's tiresome behaviour that exploits the fans.
There was a period after the CD revolution got well underway when just about every release would be followed a few weeks or months later by another version with bonus tracks. I hated that.
Throwing out signed copies or whatever else as an extra enticement after the fans will undoubtedly have already bought the initial release is not good.
In saying that, I'm not particularly fussed about signed copies of things, unless they're personalised. I know that drastically reduces the resale value, but I don't want something signed so I can sell it.

What’s the deal with the UK here?
Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. We don’t have big numbers but we certainly have commitment. I’d have thought there would be more or less a guarantee of reasonable numbers here..

Not just UK. Not available in EUROPE as a whole as far as I know, only by importing it from the US, Canada, Australia or Japan!

I am in the USA. If any European (or other) SickThings want me to act as a middleman, I can help get this to you. My pedigree is pretty solid. PM me if this appeals to you. (All costs are on you - I'll just be the funnel.)

My copies arrived earlier today via a courier, and with no customs declaration at all. I thought that was illegal but not complaining!
Maybe they are shipping them in in bulk and then distributing them as if they started here? I (clearly) have no idea. But thanks to those above who convinced me to chance it.

Last time I used DANNORAMA and everything went 100& fine.
I have enough autographs so I skip this one.
