I believe with the ticketmaster presale you just have to be logged in to your account.
With the AC.com presale you normally need a password (often "sickthings").

Is there a trend that one presale, historically, has the better seats available … axs (that ac.com) links to or ticketmaster.
Or is there no real difference.

Generally none of them have any decent seats unless you are buying VIPs etc.

Unless a venue has a standing area at front of stage, which I doubt any of these had. Think I heard Apollo is all seated now.

I'll be on AXS this morning just in the off chance something decent shows up but not holding my breath.

TM seems to have some presale starting tomorrow where AXS has all presale releasing today.

Row Z....hahahahahha

Nope I am going to wait this one out and if it means missing out then I will spend my money elsewhere, plenty bands I have yet to see

It is a pity SickthingsUK doesnt get its own secret mini pre-presale for the diehards, with decent tickets.

Actually some decent seats on presale this time. 1st row Birmingham, 2nd row Leeds, 3rd row Manchester!

Sounds like there were a lot of decent seats up for grabs for a change.

No such joy at the Glasgow Hydro, which always seems to have vast amounts of the more forward rows tied up with different suppliers.

It's going to be interesting to see how many Primal Scream fans show up, as I doubt many of them will have much of an interest in Alice whatsoever.

I got block 1 Glasgow 4th Row earlier and reasonably happy. Saves days of looking and hoping for something better. Row H in same block is currently available right now if you search for P2 tickets. Hope that helps somebody.

We got our Glasgow tix. My wife booked them, and we will take the kids. Decent floor seats I think. BTW Primal Scream are brilliant live. Saw them at Christmas pre Covid. They did 2 x packed out nights at Barrowland. Looking forward to them, but yep, there may be a mini exodus before Coop comes on. Hopefully not.

Manch and Glasgow again for me. had two lots of presale for Glasgow, was some good seats right up from but they wanted double price for them. stuff that. i'm happy where i'm at.
these 4 or 5 date tours are really disappointing though, Newcastle was always touted as a really good venue especially for metal acts, now no one comes w/in 150 miles. i've seen more gigs at Manchester and Glasgow than my home town, it feels :-/

I will speak on the U.S. experience of Presales these days. There was a time, for a short while, that doing a Presale could score you some great seats and you know you were set. But these days that is long over. One, a lot of times Scalpers will buy up entire rows of seats and as Si said unless you are getting VIP packages, you usually are better off waiting. I don't know in the UK but here in the United States, ticketmaster will now change prices depending on the day and an hour. You may buy a set in the 15th row for 200 dollars and the person sitting next to you paid a 100. Unless a show is in danger of a quick sell-out, there really is not a lot of advantages to a Pre-sale these days.
