I’m sure there will be plenty of previously unseen photos but from the preview I’ve seen there a lots of well published photos , eg we get a full page blowup from the dragon town cd insert , a double page blow up of Kyler’s photo from paranormal of Alice putting his make up on and others . Do we need them again ?

I’m not convinced there’s enough to justify the price tag , and I did but Alice at 75 as soon as it was released
I believe the book is still a work in-progress. What the video and photos show appear to be digital mockups. I wouldn't put much stock in those as being representative of the final book.

At a concert one could get "autoghraped" cd's ... Would be suprised if Alice autographed each and every cd that was piling up there...
What a ridiculous thing to say.

Honestly I don't care about the pictures, especially for that price, I'm far more interested in the essays, but I'm guessing, based on the ack of attention given them by the publisher, that there isn't much to them

I would hope so though Kyler has posted he has seen the final product .

On. Aside note I just did a dummy order and they want £45 or just under AUD 100 for postage , that’s ridiculous and has definitely put it out of my price range

No, he didn't. He posted, "I've held the test pressing of this thing...." That is not the final product.

Have you looked at shipping prices anywhere these days? That's what it costs to ship something that large from the UK.

Paper prices have shot through the roof over the past few years, which increases the costs of books. Plus, they had to license photos for this book. You can't just download images from Facebook and print them in a book. Photos have to be licensed, and that usually costs money.

These prices are not outrageous for high-quality, limited edition books with lots of photos. They're high, yes, but they're typical for books of these types.

a book that size will be pretty hefty and the weight will hoof the prices up. customs will be rubbing their hands in glee when they get it too, i'd bet you could add another 3 figures easily for the duty/handling on a $700 item

Yes I realise postage is exxy and its quite a big book but for reference Alice @ 75 cost me $27AUD to post from the USA , this one is 4 times as expensive

This is shipping from the UK, not the US. It also has twice the page count and is a physically larger book. The shipping price may be a little higher than if you had a friend send it to you, but it's not much higher.

Prices for the ‘Main’ autographed versions appear to be £200 and £600, so about $250 and $750 respectively (before postage) but with a 10% pre-order discount on offer.
If that's the price I'm not touching these with a barge pole. Ludicrous amount for a book. Not worth even considering for me.
I would have second thoughts at anything over £40-£50! and didn't buy the @75 book because I felt it was overpriced!
Out of my league I'm sorry to say, wife would kill me!

I generally buy everything that gets released, but have settled for the 'cheap' one on this occasion. From conversations I've had with several other fans, none of them have gone for the Super Deluxe version. I may look at it again once I know exactly what you get for your money and if it gets reduced in a sale.

I did see one person on Facebook claim to order both versions though.

That is a book that I will never have. I'd be scared to touch it.

The book has been delayed, anyone order it?...

Dear customer,
Dear Alice Cooper Fan,
We regret to inform you that there has been a delay in the release of the Alice Cooper book.
Due to complex licensing issues, we have been unable to send the project to print. However, we are nearing the completion of the book for production. Given the intricacy of this project, it will take approximately three months to complete once it goes to print. Therefore, we expect the book to ship towards the end of September/early October.
As we state on all of our advertising, the dates that we propose for shipping are estimates and we always try our hardest to make sure that we get as close as possible to those estimated dates. Being a small team of dedicated individuals, we try to keep you informed when we have news and information. That being said, we sincerely apologize for this delay to the Alice Cooper books.
As a token of our appreciation for your patience, we are currently printing an exclusive A5 20-page sampler of the book along with a polyester sticker. These will be sent to all pre-order customers in the first few weeks of June.
We will keep you updated on all aspects of production once the main book is at print. When the book is ready to ship, you will receive full tracking details.
Thank you for your understanding and patience and, again, please accept our sincere apologies..
Kind regards,
The Rufus Team

Yeah, I did.
Delay doesn't hurt or bother me one bit, I bought it on a payment plan of small monthly payments which was going to last until about September anyway. By the time it's all paid the book will probably be getting ready to ship.

Keen to know what the “exclusive A5 20-page sampler” is like when you get it in the next week or two.

The book was announced on 9/12/22 and that they had been working on it for 18 months previously. They then stated it was expected to ship before the second half of 2023, now in June 2024 they were "unable to send the project to print" due to "complex Licensing issues" that haven't been worked out since the project began in June 2021 but they are nearing the completion of the book for production, so it's not finished and there's licensing issues and a further 3 months to print it. Sounds like a cash flow situation to me. The money people have paid for this picture book is exorbitant and they deserve better.

I received the sampler today, it contains a variety of group / solo images including scans of records, press clippings, promo photos and live shots. There's a good number that I've never seen before.
