You can (& should) check out the Social Media feed on the Homepage. Steve Hunter posted some Sweet licks & Nita's was funny! Minion Monday & Tattoo Tuesday are interesting also.Saint&Sinner wrote: ↑Sat Jul 23, 2022 10:24 pmno, i don't do social media at all so haven't seen that stuff. His name is Alice Cooper, he legally changed it in 1974. Do you really think you are doing the surviving members of the original band any favours by trying to create division between them and Alice?Parish wrote: ↑Mon Jul 18, 2022 5:43 pmThat's his name...the original band is Alice Cooper...SickThings wrote: ↑Mon Jul 18, 2022 5:40 pmHe's obviously referring to his solo band. And you don't get cool points by calling him "Vince."
SickThings wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 3:12 pmI don't know any more than anyone else about what's going on, but did want to point out that Nita's statement actually only said that she wouldn't be on Alice's fall tour. It's entirely possible that she could end up back in the band after whatever it is that she's doing now. As I said, I know nothing, so I'm not saying it's probable, just saying that her statement left that possibility---in fact, her whole future---open.
As I said in the post above yours, this isn't a "grass is greener" case. She never said she was gone for good. Her initial announcement was that she would not be touring with Alice this fall. That was it. But the "news" sites ran with it, ignoring what she said, as did most fans. She may or may not play with Alice again in the future. Who knows? But from the beginning, she never said she wouldn't.
Maybe her Solo efforts will place her among the Guitarists she admires.Dannorama wrote: ↑Fri Aug 26, 2022 10:05 amRyan was gone for a few years as well. It’s only been a few weeks since Nita flew. I think it’s part of the biz to have change - especially when talking about AC. I expect things to go well for Nita, regardless of what happens. If she flies and never comes back, then cool. If she comes back, then that’s cool too.
Personally i could never understand why anyone would want to leave the best gig in the World. Kane has the gig for 5 weeks, let’s see what happens after that.SickThings wrote: ↑Thu Aug 25, 2022 2:09 pmAs I said in the post above yours, this isn't a "grass is greener" case. Anyone who's seen videos of the shows so far can see that Nita is a featured part of Demi's show. She's not just an unknown guitarist back in the shadows.
Steven, I have no problem in saying that you're quite capable should the situation arise!steven_crayn wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 6:58 pmPersonally i could never understand why anyone would want to leave the best gig in the World.
