What about Keri Kelli?

I think his return would be a great fit.

Alice got rid of him, because he said he should be the leader of his own band.

If she does play for Demi Lovato, look that is not my kind of music and I would guess it isn't most anyone else on this board's either. But Demi Lovato is about as mainstream as it gets. If the money is right I think most of us would at least consider it and sometimes people just want to try something different. At the end of the day she has to do what is best for her.
I'm not the biggest pop music fan but I think Demi is really talented despite some of her personal struggles. The fact she is moving into a rock direction also probably has something to do with Nita deciding to do this. I'm not so sure how much more money she will be making as Demi isn't nearly as big anymore (she's playing smaller venues than Alice on this tour)

Yeah i have watched that performance on jimmy kennel and well, i would she is getting paid allot given how bland and uninspiring it is. Very suprised.
Its as bad as when nuno bettencourt played for rhiana (what a waste of talent, but he did say he got paid loads for it so it was a no brainer) lets hope its the same sort of situation for nita, she is better than that in my opinion.

I do hope that everyone is keeping in mind...what you see on a TINY stage in a ONE-song performance on a late show, is most often not remotely equivalent to what you'd see in a full blown concert performance.

There literally wasn't room for Nita to run around. It was a tiny stage area, full of people, and a decorate red carpet rope covering the floor in the middle of it. Where was anyone supposed to move?

i wasn't referring to the "stage show" I was referring to the music. Just a big ball of meh. No intricacies, no hooks and a bland repetitive chorus.

I sincerely doubt that. Apparently Demi has been a hard rock fan for years and she recorded this album long before Nita was in the picture.

I love Vince's statement of "We've always had a swinging door policy where players can come and go..."
I wonder how Glen, Dennis, Neal and Michael feel about that...

He's obviously referring to his solo band. And you don't get cool points by calling him "Vince."

That's his name...the original band is Alice Cooper...

I don't have the quote now, as it was a reply to one of the middle-aged, white male naysayers telling Nita on Facebook that she's made a mistake, but Nita's reply was, essentially, "Wait and see what we do for the show." It seems pretty clear she will be a featured performer during the stage shows. But even if she's not, it's her decision to make, and more power to her, whatever she chooses to do.

Also, Demi Lovato came out as non-binary last year, so the proper pronoun is they, not she.

But no one calls him that, and you know that. Even Dennis only refers to him as Vince when he's talking about the early Alice Cooper days. You do it to be condescending and to let everyone know what you think of Alice and what happened with the band. We all know how you feel. Give it a rest.

Not true, but I do see your point. I'm mad...it sticks in my craw...

Hasn't been his name since the 70s.

So, I had seen that Demi came out as NB and looked it up. Turns out, a bit later, in May, they also added she/her back to at least Insta profile info. Seems both sets of pronouns are acceptable...I think. I've noticed Nita using her for Demi, and I think that Nita would take care with that.

lot of stupid whining in this thread. Nita's choice, she was happy for the change. End of story. Nobody else's place to tell her it's a downgrade or waste of her talents or anyhting else.

Agreed. Great player. Loved seeing her in the band. And who knows, maybe she'll be back someday. Good luck to her. It's a been a pleasure watching her become who she is.

Its not a matter of whining, its people who have grown to love her on stage and respect her talents as a guitarist (and as a performer alike) obviously we know people can't/wont stay in alice solo band forever but obviously when you grow to like a person as talented as nita you want the best for them and on the face of it (highlighting the bit that says on the face of it) it seems an odd move. I hope it works out for her and i hope kane works out for alice. (i love kane back in the day and i hope he still has the chops)
Its Nita's life and she can do what she likes, we are just talking about it. i haven't seen any negative comments on it......

Wait until I come in!

No, seriously, I don't care about Nita leaving. Not a bit. She's always annoyed me (posing more than Bret Michaels in 1987, overdoing it...) but I admit she's got big... chops. Yeah, we'll call it that.

Kane is more in my alley. Always loved the guy. Welcome back!!

You obviously haven't looked at any of Nita's posts on social media! :)
