HMV in Chester still has 3 copies left and the one in Reading has 1 left, again, all around the 6000 region.
I bought my copies (4 currently, long story) from Both of these HMV’s and obviously they haven’t sold any since then. So perhaps the physical sales have been poor.
To me the sales seem to be OK. I haven't seen the Download/Streaming #'s but, it may be that Earmusic held off on the last run of 5000 copies to gauge sales. They might have another idea for the final run. RSD maybe? :8):

I haven’t listened to this since it was first released.

Perhaps it was a mood thing, or a timing thing, but it hadn’t really clicked.

My Japanese edition CD copy arrived today from Amazon and just sounds amazing.

Partnered with Detroit Stories, I’ve gained a whole new appreciation for it.

I played it to death when it came out but felt a bit cheated that most of the tracks were on Detroit stories and haven't played it since, which i probably should as I thought 'devil with a blue dress on' was fantastic.

I loved this EP, was the best thing since Brutal Planet for me as it was the first time I think he genuinly got the garage sound he had talked about with albums like The Eyes etc.

If only Detroit City kept the original chorus it would have been close to my all time fav Alice (solo) song as it was sung with the grit it needed to make it great but I just didnt like the lyric change
