Absolutely not.
Re: Would you visit an Alice Cooper avatar show ?
Possibly... once.. just so I know what the show was like first hand.
However I'm not convinced the technology is quite there yet to do this as effectively as it probably will be in a decades time..
I'm a little surprised they have gone for Eric and Tommy's images. I would have thought the money would be the original line up recreating the original stage shows. But what do I know. Maybe don`t want to risk paying Peter and Ace anything.

I will absolutely not watch an alice cooper show without alice physically there.

Simply, no. I have no interest in what the people creating these things think my experience should be. I think this Kiss thing will go over like a fart in church.

When seeing Alice live is no longer an option I would definitely check it out.

Just watched how they finished the last concert on their final ever tour with a commercial for this.
True to brand to the very end.
They might claim that technological advances have enabled them to do this but, let's face it, if this technology wasn't around, they'd be doing it with a cartoon, or puppets.

Re: Would you visit an Alice Cooper avatar show ?
regarding KISS, nothing surprises me.
I'll say this though; if I can't see the original band / whatever incarnation of the band I choose to accept, for a good night out I'l easily see a tribute band if its within reach, and they have a good reputation. (Brit Floyd springs to mind).
I won't judge this avatar thing until I've actually had some experience with it, but I maintain this; if the avatar venture is somewhere halfway between a good tribute band and great looking / sounding concert film - I would definitely give it a shot.
With the premise being; the original is gone, this...thing....helps keep the music alive and re-introducing to younger fans.

No I would not, but Sharon will make sure Ozzy is part of this nonsense soon enough.
Re: Would you visit an Alice Cooper avatar show ?
I would not . There a lot of dvd's available by now and some decent footage on youtube as well. Too cartoonesk imo.
you really wouldn't understand..

No. I've seen the man 74 times. I don't need stand ins. When it's over, it's over. Though for people who never got to see him, shame on them, but yeah, I guess for those it's a good thing. Just like the Michael Jackson and Beatles Cirque shows. But for me, it's not.
