Hi Dennis and happy new year '25
Here's my questions to you
With the success, how did the band handle the pressure of being thrust into the spotlight and becoming #1 band? Were there moments of doubt or maybe even disbelief, or did it feel like a natural progression? Was it hard to grasp the idea that you were going from playing small clubs to big arenas with thousands of people?
Could you share any interesting statistics from the band's arena tours, such as attendance numbers or notable milestones that highlighted the band's growing popularity?
Thank you

The Spiders had a number 11 hit single in the southwest and we had played some pretty big shows like opening for the Byrds at the Phoenix Memorial Coliseum where we had also opened for Iron Butterfly.
We had played festivals ever since our L.A. days so headlining arena-size crowds didn't seem like such an abrupt "over night success."
Even as headliners, harsh critics and hostility from people that were outraged by our androgynous image countered us feeling like we had won over the masses, although we did enjoy inciting trouble from nay-sayers.
The volume of people that want to be close to celebrity is constant and can be overwhelming at times, like all night partying in the hallways at the band's hotel.
Beats crickets chirping, they say.
Decades seems to have weeded out the mice from the men with all of the fans worldwide that care about Alice Cooper.
So, all in all, it's a very satisfying journey which I appreciate very much.

Thanks for your honesty Dennis,
The ACG was always a sum of its parts.
No-one can take that away.
