Are there any stories about how you celebrated your birthday when you were on tour with the band ... or are they best left to the imagination ?? !!

I have a photo of me at the Galesi Estate circa '72 blowing out candles on a cake that Cindy made. Alice is in it. He has a beer and is wearing jeans and has no shirt on, just to give you an example of how casual it was.

In '73, we were on the Holiday Tour. Ron Volz called to tell me that the band had requested that I go to a certain room. So, I went.
There was a box on the bed with a cake in it. So I waited.
About an hour had passed when Ron Volz showed up. He asked where everyone was? I told him to share the cake with the road crew.
I was disappointed in the missed communication, but being a guy that hardly ever knew what day of the week it was, I didn't blame anyone for not remembering my birthday. I may have missed a few of theirs.

OMG Dennis! That’s such a sad story. What would have made it worse would have been having the flexi disc of “Nobody Likes Me” playing in the background!
