Hi Dennis, was wondering if you watched the special last night and if you so were you happy with how it turned out.. I feel like we needed another hour really but I’m grateful the network approached you all to do this - thank you.
Another thing - can us fans all now rejoice in that we saw footage of the group in the studio and that an announcement may be forthcoming of new music? I told some other fans that watched with me perhaps this was “ Detroit stories “ sessions?

I agree that another hour would have been nice.
There are a few things I would have done differently, however I feel like the band finally got some props and that alone gets my approval.
As for the recordings, we did do some songs that have yet to see the light of day so let's keep our fingers crossed.

Re: A and E special
Since you mentioned that there have been recordings with the members of the original group that has yet seen the light of day, I am guessing it’s the secessions that Michael Bruce mentioned a while back. I would imagine that has to be a bit frustrating that it’s still on the shelf as I’m totally confident it is very good. If and when those recording come out, do you feel some of the freshness is missing after this length of time and is there any second guessing on maybe we should have done this song a little differently ? Versus the early days of ACG albums being written and released very quickly which probably sometimes felt like being on a hamster wheel ?

If any of those songs get released, they will feel fresh to me.revinkevin wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2024 8:04 pmSince you mentioned that there have been recordings with the members of the original group that has yet seen the light of day, I am guessing it’s the secessions that Michael Bruce mentioned a while back.
