Financial Disincentives

In his book, Mike Bruce spoke about how you guys met with Alice in Detroit in the 70s to settle for the name. The band was to receive a certain percentage of everything Alice did with the name after WTMN. The % was less than your original percentage of splitting the band cut equally 5 ways.
I think I read somewhere that Alice and Shep go 50/50 now. That’s high for a manager so I don’t know if that is true.
It seems that you, Mike and Neal have come to some type of agreement with Alice because you have recorded new material with Alice on 3 different albums in the past 10 years.
Is there any type of financial complication for a tour and DVD? Since the band is getting a percentage of whatever Alice does anyway how would you guys be compensated for a world tour? Would you be hired hands but wouldn’t that be double dipping? Would you make a new contract just for the tour?
I think the fans who would see Alice solo would also see Alice and the original band and then more fans who don’t really follow Alice solo would come out for the long-awaited reunion.
Could a financial disincentive be there for Alice and Shep with a reunion tour? Is it too complicated for them to deal with?
I think a new album and tour would make money with the original group.

You're asking about personal business matters and you're speculating about future albums and tours, which are things that people have been asking me about for decades. I've never been the one that's kept it from happening. It's always been the same, if I ever get a call, I will jump at the chance.
