In the late 60s and early 70s, did you or your band mates ever watch Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Doors and Jimi Hendrix perform from the side of the stage?
I know Zeppelin and Pink Floyd were just starting their careers when you crossed paths with them but The Doors and Hendrix were probably well along in their respective careers.
Any impressions of their performances up close?

I saw Pink Floyd, The Doors, and the Jimi Hendrix Experience multiple times - always from the audience but toward the front. The up close part was backstage after the shows.
Pink Floyd with Syd Barret was erratic, colorful, and spacey. Floyd with Gilmore was calm and spacey. I loved erratic.
The Doors had good nights, and they had rivetingly amazing nights depending on Morrison's condition.
Jimi Hendrix Experience were always great, but with P.A.'s not being able to compete with the invention of Marshall amps, you could rarely hear much of Mitch.
