I've yet to meet Russell Keefe in person but our mutual friends, Andy and Anna, told me that Russell would like to have me play bass on one of his songs. Anna is Ron Wood's guitar tech and she was my bass tech at the Christmas Pudding show in 2019.
Russell sings and plays keys with the currant line-up of Slade. They had to cancel their tour due to the pandemic so Russell decided to record a solo album. The best part is that I like the song, I like Russell's voice, and I like the quality of the album.

What is the song and where can we hear it Dennis?

How do you feel about recording parts separately?

I'm guessing the Slade he is in must be Dave Hill's after Don got fired.

"I Never Want to See Me Again" will be out on July 16th. tbelly.bandcamp.com

Even though, I prefer to watch the drummer when recording, I've always done a certain amount of overdubs and because I work with seasoned pros, and I concentrate on the feel of the song, I don't mind recording on my own.

Russell joined the Dave Hill lineup in 2019 before Powel's exit.
