Re: Alice Cooper Solo in Switzerland 2025. No HV after all??

This doesn't rule out HV shows next year. Was it ever stated they would br European shows? It just confirms there will be European Alice Cooper shows next year - over which there was some doubt after he was here twice this year. Yes, it was stated that there would be European shows. Ryan said as mu...

Re: Muscle of love expanded

My copies arrived earlier today via a courier, and with no customs declaration at all. I thought that was illegal but not complaining! Maybe they are shipping them in in bulk and then distributing them as if they started here? I (clearly) have no idea. But thanks to those above who convinced me to c...

Re: Muscle of love expanded

What’s the deal with the UK here? Doesn’t make a lot of sense to me. We don’t have big numbers but we certainly have commitment. I’d have thought there would be more or less a guarantee of reasonable numbers here.. Not just UK. Not available in EUROPE as a whole as far as I know, only by importing ...

Re: Muscle of love expanded

Just in time for Christmas! Newly announced autographed editions are going to be available through TalkShopLive.[/url] I wish I'd have known earlier. I just can't justify buying this album yet again. That is taking the piss a little. They must know many people will have already bought it. It should...

Re: Orianthi back with Alice

Nita had been told she was clear to book her own shows, which she did. After that they were offered the Jan/Feb shows. Nita has already confirmed she will back later next year. btw there's a cool photo of Nita, Orianthi and Crossbone Skully guitarist Anna Cara hanging out together at the Skully show...

Re: Final Hammersmith 2024 filmed

Hammersmith SHOULD be a great gig, but if the crowd were as bad as they were on the first night (that i attended) I doubt the atmosphere will be any good. Wasn't much different. Blame is on it being seated and VIPs down the front. There's nothing at all wrong with the venue at all. I've watched rec...

Re: Final Hammersmith 2024 filmed

Don't know if this has been reported, but by chance I listened to a podcast featuring director Timd Sidwell. When asked what he had been doing lately, he said that he had filmed the last Alice gig at Hammersmith. They (the film team) had been brought in with only a few weeks notice by EAR music, an...

Re: Good AC cover songs.

Proof that we are being observed: I just got this album recommended on Spo***y. Never heard of it before. Is it European? Anyway, the song they recommended (two days after I whined about it here) was “Halo of Flies” with Dennis Dunaway and Dimma. Great all the way through, especially when he scream...

Re: Muscle of love expanded

But... I knew that already - was that not common knowledge or am I just imagining that I knew that... was it mentioned here or in Chris Suttons book or... somewhere. So, no need to feel dirty. lol While it would be wrong to say it was common knowledge, it WAS known, and was discussed here before. (...

Re: Good AC cover songs.

I just remembered one cover that I like. Def Leppard doing "Elected." The crowd is definitely into it. Joe Elliot is a big AC fan. I remember one of the Dublin theatre shows (2003?) he was up in a box enjoying the show. I believe he was living there at the time. Not really on topic but you just rem...

Allmost at my home. Shame I was hit two times with import duties.
This is what I was worried about.
Mestreech is in Holland though. All the UK drops seem to have made it through unhindered.
Yes, I'm aware of that, but it IS my fear.
I have now bitten the bullet, so will wait and see.

'Keeping’ Hallowe'en Alive' would be a fun encore at the right time of the year! I can imagine them having great fun doing that.

Re: Muscle of love expanded

But why would such a brilliant package only get a limited release from rhino themselves and not see a wide release? That's a good question, although it IS available via Warner Brothers stores in Australia and Canada, and, it seems, from normal outlets (like Tower Records) in Japan. I don't understa...

Re: Muscle of love expanded

Were you hit by import duties/VAT/etc? If so how much? Shipping and handling added $15.99 to the $39.88 cost of the set in the original transaction, for a total price of just over £43.00. Wasn't hit by anything else after that. Hmm, that's interesting. Thanks. I've been holding out ordering because...
