Re: Is anyone home ?

I always presumed it was a left over Last Temptation track. Good to see it included on the Life and Crimes... boxset

Re: Is anyone home ?

I love this song. Yes it does seem a little strange tagged on to the end of a live album, but I liked it from the first time I heard it.

Re: Tour 2018!

Just watching the footage on the main page of the Vampires performing School's Out. How many times has Alice sang this song live? Thousands of times? And yet he always makes it look like it's a new song. That's professionalism for you.

That's what really annoyed me. I have never heard Alice swear or even quoted as swearing.

Re: Old Grey Whistle Test Interview

This weekend BBC 4 have been celebrating Old Grey Whistle Test and they have shown clips of Alice's classic performance of Under My Wheels. When OGWT could not get an artist to come in and play but they wanted to highlight a new album track, they would show an old film clip from the 1940s, or whenev...

I have to disagree with you about Deep Purple's last 2 albums. I love them. Their best albums in 20 years IMO. Also Infinite was their highest charting album since their 'reunion' album Perfect Strangers in 1985. Both albums have been very well received by Purple fans.

Re: Mar Y Sol 1972 album

I bought it over a week ago at HMV in Liverpool. Sound quality is good and I really like the cardboard sleeve with an out-take from the Killer album cover session.

Did they actually spend that much time together? May have hung out at a couple of parties but was that it?

How Alice Cooper Survived The 80s

From Ultimate Classic Rock Magazine http://ultimateclassicrock.com/alice-cooper-survived-80s/ I think the 80s were Alice's most interesting decade. By 1980 his career was in decline, by the mid 80s it was dead in the water but by the end of the decade he was back on top and possibly as popular as he...

Re: Mojo - Vote For Alice Cooper's Best Albums

One of the journalist's comments that I do agree with though is: "There is ample proof here that most ACG members could write great songs, and Cooper has still to find a co-writing foil to match guitarist Michael Bruce." I think Dick Wagner co-wrote some great songs with Alice. IMO he is Alice's be...

From tim10cc: >and has been the opening act. I don't understand why. As previously discussed, that would be because they pay him a lot of money. I doubt that Alice needs the money though. I also don't think he tours because he needs the money. I think he does it because it's in his blood, a way of ...
