Re: ALICE COOPER Relaunches Radio Show, Now Called 'Alice's Attic'

Full list of stations added (so far) now on AC.com.
They are still saying a UK station is coming. Not sure it could be anything but planetrock as surely there really isn't another proper terrestrial Rock station in the UK!

Thanks Si, perhaps I misunderstood! I thought he was on a radio show from the 5th Feb, I was building up my hopes there. :(
I think that is correct. It certainly looks like it. we just don`t know what station(s) it will air on yet.

Re: Classic Rock Radio

Just read Alice is back as a DJ on the 5 February 2024 #classicrock. On reading this I went looking for thee App and I can't seem to find it. Do they have one? I listen to the radio quite a bit on my phone and if there is one please share, I can then delete my 'Planet Rock' App. No rush, we got a f...

Re: WTMN on Broadway

Bertolino fronts 'Pretties For You New York', Nick Didkovsky's tribute to the early Alice Cooper albums. If you haven`t checked them out you are really missing out. More than just a tribute band really, with input from Dennis and Neal in the past.

Just throwing it out there... no one has said that any future band album will actually be the next album released...
Just saying.

Re: BSB 50th anniversary 2cd / 3 lp out in March

Apparently Michael Bruce wrote and played the bass parts on the demo for My Stars as Dennis was under the weather at the time. Dennis then played the parts MB came up with on the studio version of the song. Years ago I indicated in another thread in this Forum that the quality of MS was great enoug...

Re: BSB 50th anniversary 2cd / 3 lp out in March

What is unfair that for the last 50 years the people who actually played the music on the album were never given proper credit and a person who did not play one note on the album was given full credit. I get the whole point of crediting Glen at the time and to portray "an all is well" image to the ...

Re: BSB 50th anniversary 2cd / 3 lp out in March

Which brings me to my last point. This would have been a perfect time to set the record straight and give credit to those who actually played on B$B. Wagner, Hunter, Dolin, Mashbir deserve their credit for their contributions to the legendary album. GB didn't play a note and gets full credit. What ...

Mary Ann ( single version) ?

It was a single somewhere?
B'Side of 'Billion Dollar Babies'. Although I don't think I was aware of there being any differences to the album version.

Re: BSB 50th anniversary 2cd / 3 lp out in March

While I agree with everyone suggesting there's likely nothing new included here, the one thing we can probably be assured off is that the LP packaging will be first class... and isn't that 90% of why a lot of us buy these vinyl reissues? If it was just any new material we would only buy the CD versi...

Re: BSB 50th anniversary 2cd / 3 lp out in March

Interesting. So track 1-21, 24,25,30 are all previously on the 2CD deluxe edition from years ago - assuming the live tracks are from the same show (Houston) used on that and the RSD vinyl release. It may not be as several shows were recorded. 22 and 23 are presumably the missing tracks to complete t...

Re: 2024

Melbourne venue is a genuine surprise, only 10 mins from my house. Not keen on festivals in general, as you need to get a good spot early and protect it for hours by the time Alice comes on. That said, this is a genuinely good line up. I've found in the past that often the hardcore fans of the band...

Re: Empire Pool (Wembley) 1972 Setlist

Setlist.fm is quite dependable for questions like this. Setlists.fm IS a useful resource for sure, especially for more recent shows, but the further back you go the more you find people just guessing, as there are no recordings to show what was actually played on a specific night. It's easy to do f...

any idea why cooper didnt sing this song?
As i said above, I think it was to do with the theatrics happening on stage. Same way as Michael Bruce used to sing I Love The Dead during the guillotine.
