Re: New album cover
My youngest son surprised me with a copy of Astroturf. The vinyl is clear and there's a Neal label. Number 3804 or something like that. Clear, Black, Orange or opaque Pink would have been my choices. I'm just glad it wasn't lavender. I remember when they were talking making a box set and Renfield wa...

Re: Album opinion change
I agree about School's Out. I became obsessed with Alice around 1984. I loved the sleeve with the folding out desk, but didn't play that album nearly as much as the others. I now think it's one of my favourites, although I usually skip Track 1! I never cared for the song 'School's Out'. That and El...

I'd accept some great songs in lieu of all the 'hype' packaging. Yeah...I know I ask too much.

Re: You’re a movie lyric
Hi! Hope everyone is well. I’ve been wondering about this lyric for a while. Exactly what type of movie is he? The lyric section here says “ the one o’kind”, another lyric site says “final kind” ( I certainly don’t hear this!), Linda Henrick ,god bless her, say “the * kind” and I’ve always heard “p...

Re: You’re a movie lyric
Strangely enough, last night I was trying to recall which AC albums had printed lyrics included and didn't remember any lyrics included in SF's packaging. I could have just looked through my collection...anyhoot, just thought it a cool coincidence we were both thinking of SF's lyrics.

That splatter logo has always looked childish and cheap to me. Then again, I'm no purveyor of the fine arts.

I've written 150 songs since December and recorded s few dozen. Haven't really noticed any difference in daily life this year. People haven't stopped going places. As a matter of fact, the traffic has increased like crazy.

Re: Alice Unplugged
Greetings from Pensacola Beach, where I'm on extended vacation. When they whipped out the acoustic guitars on I Never Cry during the Dirty Diamonds tour, I cried - oh boy did I! All I could hear was a hipster mess and all I saw was kindling. I paid good money to see something even worse than Every R...

I remember when it came out. Disappointed that the cover was warmed over photo and the music seemed like leftovers as well, but it wasnt the worst. I loved Lace and Whiskey and the tour.

Last album I enjoyed. Great cover too.
