Re: Rock Hall Induction Performance
"Alice Cooper's induction into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame is special because it was voted for by his heroes. The 'Under My Wheels' rocker will be inducted along with the surviving members of the original Alice Cooper band - Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith and Michael Bruce - on Monday (14.03.11) and...

Alice Cooper urges young stars to behave
"Alice Cooper has warned young stars to behave themselves or risk ruining their career with drink and drugs. The music veteran enjoyed the rock 'n' roll lifestyle to the full throughout his early years in the spotlight, but has been sober since kicking his addictions in the 1980s. Cooper fears youn...

Re: SUCK in Theaters--Sep. 2 (US, at least)
Please be aware that there is a film entitled ' Vampires Suck ', due to be released to the UK cinema on October 15th, 2010. Apparently this is a spoof film, primarily based on the 'Twilight Films', by the same people who made such cinematic gems as ' Date Movie', 'Epic Movie', 'Meet the Spartans ' ...

Songs that don't fit in with the concept
There are two Alice albums that I find myself listening to more than the others. However, both of these albums contain songs that I do not feel fit in with the overall concept/story which is being told The first album is "Welcome to my Nightmare" - the trip inside the mind of a sociopathic murdered....

Where does act 4 belong in the story?
This is probably a stupid question, but... We all know that the Theatre of Death presentation consists of four separate acts. Act 1, consisting of School's Out / Department of Youth / Eighteen / Wicked Young Man / Ballad of Dwight Fry, is concerned with the evils of youth Act 2, consisting of Go To ...

Re: Rock Hall Announcement--Dec. 15
Not yet official, but: Alice Cooper, the Valley singer who pioneered the use of theatrics in rock, has confirmed that he will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with his band March 14. Cooper, 62, said Tuesday that he was notified a week ago by the Cleveland-based organization that the...

Re: Seeking two old alice tv interviews
>Don't forget that during the 60's and 70's, the BBC would wipe tapes so that they could be used again That does not apply to the footage under discussion, as it does exist (a short piece was used in the original "Behind The Music" documentary). Maybe it's only that particular excerpt that exists. ...

Re: Seeking two old alice tv interviews
I think the main reason is that back then, there were no (or very few) domestic video recorders, so it has never been circulated. I think that's a fair comment. However, it does 'live in video land' (as Alice would say) somewhere and I am suprised it hasn't surfaced in its entirety in some format a...

Re: Official Alice Cooper live concert video/DVDs
With this forthcoming one (Theatre of Death) filmed at Hammersmith, London, UK. This will be the 4th that has been filmed in the UK. I find this significant for a US artist. Is it coincidence, OR is that Alice feels that UK audiences respond better to an Alice Cooper show?? Maybe the answer to this...

Proposed a toast to Jimmy's ghost
Yes, it's a quote from the song "From the Inside"
Who is the 'Jimmy' in question?
I have always supposed it was a reference to Jimi Hendrix, but it has also occurred to me that it could be Jim Morrison
Maybe it is a totally different Jim
Any thoughts?

Re: "School's Out" on "Grown Up" Ads
There is no mention of 'School's Out' on the soundtrack listing that is featured on the IMDB entry for this film, so presumably the song is only being used for the trailer
