Re: Urban Myths
Every Alice fan has to check it out, although I found it a bit disappointing. I was bothered by little things such as 'Alice' dropping the F bomb a lot. My two favourites in that series are the backstage at Live Aid one, which is so hilariously over-the-top it could have been an episode of The Comic...

Relive One Great Gig
Hey Dennis,
Here's another flippant question for the weekend.
If you could go back and relive one gig you played with the Alice Cooper group, which one would it be?
Additionally, if you could relive one gig you witnessed by another artist, what would that one be?
Thanks

Lyrics Included on the Sleeve
Hey Dennis,
Is there any specific thinking behind why lyrics were included on the sleeve of Billion Dollar Babies but on none of the other albums, or is it just how it worked out?
Thanks

Patty Donahue
This being the anniversary of her death in 1996, got me to wondering if there were any outtakes of her 'vocals and sarcasm' on I Like Girls that could have been included on our imaginary, never-gonna-happen Blackout Boxset.

Re: A Nonsense Question for the Weekend
Welsh band Manic Street Preachers did a version of Under My Wheels for a BBC session, which was subsequently used on a B-side. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EnspBeHza0 The interesting footnote on this is that their top ten hit of the Theme from M.A.S.H.(Suicide is Painless) for a charity release ...

Thanks Dennis.
You've made good calls there.
I think I can especially picture him doing Working Up A Sweat. He certainly had enough musicians and singers backing him to really rip into it.

A Nonsense Question for the Weekend
Hey Dennis,
Myself and some friends were discussing songs that Elvis could have covered from various bands. When we got to the Alice Cooper group, it was my firm belief that Under My Wheels is the one he'd have done best.
Any thoughts on this trivia?
Thanks

Re: Who I really am
I've listened to the free clips so far and was surprised at how much he seems to be shouting the stories out. I reckon I'll have to give the whole thing a listen.

Sherilyn Fenn
Hey Dennis, Did Sherilyn Fenn's dad, Leo, really bring her on tour with you guys? It's one of those things that sounds both plausible (she was from a showbiz family after all) and a nice exaggeration. The Alice Cooper tours of the early seventies would have been quite an eye-opener for someone under...

The Decline of Western Civilization Part II
Hey Dennis, The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years , released in 1988, has a rerecorded version of Under My Wheels over the end credits with additional (maybe ad-libbed?) lyrics. Were you consulted on this new version at all? And do you have any opinion on how it sounds? In fac...

Re: 2022 Tour with the Cult
My mate just asked...What do you need for that, "proof of vaccine or lateral flow test or both"....something to think about that MIGHT be needed as it never even crossed my mind when booking The rules that start on October 1st will require a vaccine passport, to prove you've had two jags. We have t...

Re: 2022 Tour with the Cult
Just went with the SSE presale after all, towards the very back of section 4. I've been up close enough times to have had enough of this chase for a better ticket.
Looking at some Youtube footage again, the stalls are all pretty good anyway, considering it's a soulless big space.

Re: 2022 Tour with the Cult
I really can't follow what seats ac.com are offering. They seem wildly random and, unless I'm completely misunderstanding it, none of them are for the central stalls?

Best SSE Hydro presale tickets start at Row W.
One of the most infuriating things of the modern age is having to trawl around the various ticket outlets to see who's offering what, all the while worrying that you might pass over the best deal while looking for something else.

A Romantic Question!
Hey Dennis, Do you and Cindy have a tune that is special for the both of you? Sorry if that's a bit too personal a question, but the world can always use a bit of romance. Me and my special lady friend had our first dance to Another Girl, Another Planet by The Only Ones many, many years ago, so that...

Your Choice of Weekend Listening
Hey Dennis, Please forgive the slightly bland question, lifted from one of the monthly music mags, but a few Friday beers got me pondering what your answer might be. Do you have a particular artist or song that's a favourite to get you going on a Friday/Saturday? And do you have a favourite for a mo...
