Re: 2022 Tour with the Cult

Just seen a photo of a european ticket. It says "Detroit Muscle" on the ticket. Are we in for a switch of theme/show after the US tour?

Re: 2022 Tour with the Cult

I wonder who the special guests are and if Alice and The Cult play in the same order each night or alternate?

Never been to a co-headline

Re: 2022 Tour with the Cult

I'm in that block, a few rows back presumably as i needed 4 seats together, hoping that the amps are far enough back not to obscure much. Could not see the guillotine in Aberdeen, had to take a walk to see it

Re: 2022 Tour with the Cult

My mate just asked...What do you need for that, "proof of vaccine or lateral flow test or both"....something to think about that will likely be needed as it never even crossed my mind when booking, although I have both jabs anyway

Re: 2022 Tour with the Cult

i swore after aberdeen i was getting 4 1st row meet and greets for the family, no taking my chances on this tour though as would be well over 2K. My time will come wether it is meet and greet or somewhere else, but would rather covid be behind us on a MnG

Re: 2022 Tour with the Cult

Hate buying tickets now, no idea if Alice may pop up a link with better ones and since i have no right to cancel if he does i either risk getting worse than whats on offer or go with it and risk missing better As it is co-headline does that mean a reduced stage design and setlist for Alice? If so mi...

I would say if you think "I love the dead" crosses the line then Alice may not be your thing :rotfl:

Re: Detroit Muscle Tour with Ace

I wonder what UK proces will be?..I have to say we have been lucky with Alice prices so I wont be bummed out. I am £300 for 2 "gold circle" GnR tickets where i could end up anywhere....2019 I had 4 front row Alice tickets in Aberdeen for about £160

Re: Phil X talks about and demonstrates some of his guitar playing on the Brutal Planet album

If Alice was there I am sure he would have went "yeah i like it lets use it". The fact he was not there, had he not liked it, I am sure he would asked for it to be redone....However it was recorded it is one of his stongest solo albums imo. Pretty sure a lot of band record like that, Motley Crue com...

Re: Detroit Muscle Tour with Ace

I hope to hell Detroit City will get a shout, would be daft not to but you never know these days. He could go far out and do a cut down version of I love America as well

Managed to get hold of "A Fistful of Alice" on vinyl, although there are some far more impressive shout outs here

Re: Your most treasured Alice items?

Don't have anything too rare to be honest. It'd probably be the Japanese version of A Fistful of Alice . I am desperate to get that album on vinyl. Postman has just dropped of vinyl copies of Welcome 2 My Nightmare, Live in Switzerland (Montreux) and No More Mr Nice Guy Live. All still sealed....Th...

Re: Your most treasured Alice items?

That is an impressive vinyl collection (amongst other things)...A Fistful of Alice seems to be the hardest of all to come by. I have been on your site before having a nosey. Yeah i settled on the Warner versions of the first albums just to get my collection complete but I would like to go back and g...

Your most treasured Alice items?

Mines has to be my vinyl copies of GR edition Astroturf, Along Came a Spider and (when it arrives soon) No More Mr Nice Guy Live on blue vinyl will join it in the treasured category.

So what are yours? Rare music, toys, concert memorabilia, stage prop?

Re: Greatest Hits

It's legit in as much as it's not a bootleg, but I *think* what rgallie is looking for is albums that would have been included as part of a record deal, not compilations legally released later on. Exactly what I am after, just to make sure my vinyl collection is complete on all official releases (n...

Greatest Hits

Is this the only official compilation released as part of any record deal? In my CD collecting days I always assumed Classicks was also the one Sony compilation that wasn't a bit of a knock off. Working my way through buying all the official release vinyl and Greatest Hits seems to be the only one g...

Re: Vinyl wanted.

On the off chance you are still active: Did you ever get them? Dirty Diamonds I am assuming you did. ACAS you can get if you are willing to pay the higher price (I just obtained a copy today). A Fistful on the other hand has been trickiest yet, not seen it on sale anywhere.

Re: The Best Alice lyric

On a few songs on the Trash he does this bit at the end of most songs that goes over the outro chorus lyrics that is not documented in the lyric sheets...like in spark of the dark I am sure it is "You stupid little liar, baby you can set my match on fire"....I always thought those parts where pretty...
