Re: New Tour Setlist Discussion *SPOILER*

First off, i probably would go to the show even if he would play a reagge version of Schools Out 20 times in a row. And I don't want to whinge about it too much because I'm happy that the Coop still comes out year after year. But I also have mixed feelings with this setlist. For MY PERSONAL taste th...

Re: Two Sides To Every Story - Roxie's BACK!

At the moment I like "Smell the coffee" the best.
This is the kind of song I want to hear on the radio in the morning and the rest of the day can't suck...

It was totally worth downloading it.
Go get it and support the Roxie!!

Re: Roxie77 (Version 2.0)

I'm looking forward! 'Peace Love And Armageddon' is such a great rockin' disc...

Too bad that the new one seems to be only released in digital form. Hopefully a later release is coming out on an "oldschool"-format like the debut single from happypill...

Re: Brian 'Renfield' Nelson

Can't believe that I will never see him scamper around the stage before the show making sure everything's perfect... ::((: Unfortunatelly I only met him once when he picked me up for my meet and greet with Alice. He was very nice and patient answering all my fan questions I've had on the way to the ...

Re: Alice plays Montreux again!!!

Dragonlady: Sorry to say that but after the first euphoria it turned out that the whole trip is going to be too expensive for me -- after I just bought a new guitar. Especially the ticket prices for the train to swizerland are insane so I have to hope for some german dates this year. :( But thanks f...

Re: Alice plays Montreux again!!!

Alice and Die Aerzte on one stage -- that's awesome and a dream come true for me!! Most of you guys may not know them but they are a VERY popular (kind of)punkrock band here in germany. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_%C3%84rzte It's great for Alice because he's got his premiere to a lot of new kid...

Re: Pass the Gun Around!

That was actually the first (and only) song I liked from DADA for a long time! Like many others I had my problems with that record at first. Especially when I listened to it at the age of 13 or so. Because I only knew a few Alice records and it was a big step from albums like TRASH to the experiment...

Re: Trashes the World

I always liked the live version of 'bed of nails'!

I think there's a even better version on the japan edition of the FISTFUL-album but this DVD really captured the spirit of 80's-Alice with backround singers and stuff and that's fun to watch.

Re: WTMN part 2?

WTMN was epic, but I don't see how it can be repeated. Alice isn't the same as he was then, plus the times / music has moved on. That's a good point. Otherwise: Meat Loaf did three parts of BAT OUT OF HELL and in my opinion the concept worked in the nineties as well as in 2006 with a pretty timeles...

Re: Alice in Germany

I was in Essen and it was great as always. Whitesnake went on first and everything seems like Alice was definitely the official headliner. On big electronic signs around the venue you could only read his name. It was the same Psycho Drama Show we all have seen so there were no real surprises in the ...

ACAS Vinyl-Version

Hi there, i've posted some pics from the very cool vinyl-package in a german Alice-board. Might be interesting for you... It's a single disc in clear vinyl with a foldout cover. http://www.forumromanum.de/member/forum/entry_ubb.user_79165.2.1104562033.1104562033.1.along_came_a_spider_vinyl_version-p...
