Re: Tour 2017!

So I am back home and back at work. Still floating around a little cloud. What an incredible week this was! My thanks to all the wonderful people who helped make this week a total dream come true! You know who you are. But extra special thanks to Si ! As usual I wrote a little "diary" (can't ...

Tickets for sale - Dublin 8 and 9th Nov

I had a change of plans and need to sell my tickets for these two shows. Si was kind enough to let me post here. I have a floor ticket for each night and an upper circle one for the 8th. Price (including taxes I paid and shipping) £67.- each I am not around here all the time so please email me if in...

Re: Original Band to play mini-set on Mainland UK shows

now...what's the chances of a VIP experience to meet them all.....?? I think that could happen if there was demand, but how many would be interested is the question (as Andy makes mention of on another thread)? Well, I never do M&G's as I prefer to spend my money on actual shows and planes and hote...

Re: Alice's Facebook

Great news Kyler! I will also go back to following :) Well, I know exactly how much work this all is. I've been in charge of the website at work since 2000. It takes much longer than people imagine. There can be a few hours of research behind a small article at times, getting images ready etc, even ...

Re: Alice Cooper dates this year

I have to give my holiday dates until June by mid-December. I hope we'll have some news by then!

I can't really complain, compared to you UK peeps. I saw Alice three times this year, though two were "just" the Rock Meets Classic shows, short but very sweet!

And let's hope it's not only that once again. Meaning there will be a proper tour also. But this is pretty cool, and for once that the ticket alert actually worked and alerted me *before* I already buy tickets

Re: Alice Cooper dates this year

I just got an email alert for a festival date in Switzerland, June 2015: http://www.rockthering.ch/newsblog.html
Got my ticket of course :) Bit steep for the golden circle but a double bill with Judas Priest (and triple with Five Fingers Death Punch) is worth it I guess.

I'm confused too. I followed the link on the home page here and all I can see is Blu-ray or audio cd? Ah well, it will probably get resolved at some point.

Re: Dick Wagner Passes Away

Sad news. I've posted on Facebook but here it feels more appropriate somehow. WTMN, the album and the show on VHS (back then) were my first live experiences with Alice (even though only on TV). They will forever be linked to my first memories of seeing Alice on stage and discovering this world that ...

Re: Ori's replacement?

I wouldn't mind if they found another woman to replace her. It's not like there is shortage of talented guitar ladies. There is more than enough testosterone up there already LOL. Seriously it will be great whatever happens. All I hope is that it won't be too long until we get new shows this side of...

Ha, ha! At least the forum would keep going!

Oh dear! 21 shows in a row? Doable if it's the same venue and sleeping under a bridge :P

Re: Chuck Garric Questions?

Just heard the interview. Very cool!
I love it when interviewers ask intelligent questions

Funny I how I was just day dreaming about this on my blog the other day... to have one special show only for us die-hards, with no "crowd-pleasers" just obscure stuff. What a dream!

Well it would be really cool to see the collaboration going the other way this time.

The Toy Master remains one of my absolute favourites, as you point out the lyrics were tailor made for Alice I loved the concept

Re: Rock Meets Classic Tour

I came home from Strasbourg yesterday and I'll try to write my review today. But here are some initial impressions I'm still on a little cloud it was that good! It was a bit sad that the Zénith in Strasbourg sold very few tickets, but the crowd that was there was very enthusiastic. In the end the ve...

That song already has the orchestral type of melody, I bet that will be great. Sure would love to see them again, shame that Trevor Bolder is gone now :/

Very energetic band, it was a real pleasure both times.

Re: Rock Meets Classic Tour

Thanks Schinkengott, I was looking at the videos on youtube and I thought I had seen Oliver Hartmann there. So cool! I'm seeing the show in one week in Zurich and then the one in Strasbourg. I love Uriah Heep, saw them twice I bet this will be great. I'm glad they're doing "July Morning" as I always...
