Dali Hologram

I was reading Michaels book last night and he said the band paid $500 each for the hologram to be made. Does this mean you might actually own it if you paid for its comission?

I have read that it resides somewhere in Spain.

Re: The Paul Stanley situation

Having had Covid himself I really think Alice should call off the tour. He's 73 and Sheryl is mid 60's. They could easily pick Up The variant.

Re: Muscle of Love

Do you remember what was the last song you worked on and how long a gap was there when Ezrin walked and Douglas got on board?

Also was there any fear that Ezrin had gone or was it a collective band, minus Alice, sigh of relief?

What is the song and where can we hear it Dennis?

How do you feel about recording parts separately?

I'm guessing the Slade he is in must be Dave Hill's after Don got fired.

Re: Michael Bruce's solo album in 1975

A parallel to BDB's was SAHB ( without Alex ). Also in 77. They released an album called Fourplay and actually had a deal with SAHB's Mountain label. They also had a tour lined up and got some tv spots. A great press ad featured them in the studio with Alex, mouth taped up and bound, in the foregrou...

Re: Michael Bruce's solo album in 1975

I find it very strange that both Michael and Neal decided to finance their own albums without a label pending. Neals decision was just bizarre as he hired Jack Douglas and The New York Philharmonic! I'm guessing that didn't come cheap. Also he didn't have enough songs for a full album!! No surprise ...

Apart from WTMN I much prefer Battle Axe to Alice's solo albums up to FTF.

Re: Battle Axe

Thank you for your responses Dennis. I wish there was a like button on the forum. Would I be correct in saying that Mike and Neal's solo albums were self funded? Also I think Mike had a studio in Lake Tahoe. Did you ever visit it? When Battle Axe was conceived and recorded where were the band member...

Re: Michael Bruce's solo album in 1975

Probably because it stunk and didn't come out until the early 80' s. Then Billion Dollar Babies flopped and left him out a lot of cash. He also had a divorce. With little cash coming in annually from Alice Cooper and no fan base there probably wasn't much incentive.

Re: Battle Axe

I bought the complete Battle Axe 3cd years ago, the first and only time I saw it in "my" cdshop. At first I was not convinced this could have been an ACG cd, but listening to it again several times now ,it really has good songs ! And the second cd with the demo's is really good ! It was said this w...

Re: Alice & Stranger Things

While the new season of Stranger Things will be released soon, I always thought that some of Alice's songs from the 80's would have been ideal for this TV Show. Searching for connections, I have found this article of a band called Gentleman Afterdark and their song "Open the Door", which is on the ...

Re: I Love America

Yes but songs from those three albums have been played before. Zipper and Da Da we've had nada! I think they are the only two albums in the catalogue that this applies to. I'm sure Detroit Stories will see at most two songs when touring commences.
