I actually put out a tribute to the Killer album a few years back with a bunch of bands from all over the world...

The band i'm in (Sergeant Thunderhoof) did the version of Halo of Flies.

Re: Desmond Child talks not doing Trash 2
That was a really enjoyable interview. I get why he feels that way towards Hey Stoopid, even if I do prefer it to Trash. It must have felt like a bit of a kick to the teeth being dropped after the huge success of Trash. I also happen to love his work with Meat Loaf. He managed to mimic the style of ...

The Last Temptation was the last great cover artwork. Right up there with his best.

It's ok. I had it on in the car for a while, but my ears got tired pretty quick. Doesn't really stand up to repeated listens for me. Not the worst, but not the best for me.

This was commissioned by myself for the Killer tribute LP we produced a few years ago. You can hear the rest here:

Re: BSB 50th anniversary 2cd / 3 lp out in March
Just as an aside... as far as I'm aware, the cash buyout options are usually (to my knowledge) an arrangement between the individual and the record company/publisher. If there were any such 'buy-out' involving DW, I would assume it wasn't something offered by Alice himself. Happy to be corrected on ...

Always enjoy the Metal Mythos videos. Couldn't care less about his political opinions, doesn't concern me.

Re: Screaming Lord Sutch on Alice Cooper
Let's be honest for a moment. Lord Sutch was barely known in the UK music scene, let alone on an international level. Screaming Jay Hawkins and Arthur Brown.... for sure.... Alice and/or the band may have come across those before during their early days. Sutch spent most of his life fronting a parod...

Re: “Road,” August 25, 2023
But the biggest problem I have is with '100 More Miles'... What a wasted opportunity!!! They finally had a song that could be a new AC classic in the mould of 'Inmates', 'My Stars' or even 'Cleansed By Fire' but what do they do? They cut it right down to just over 3 minutes!! It makes me so mad jus...

Re: "Road" - Reviews
Listening to the entire album in full, it's much better than the clips and three singles suggested. Even the previously released singles sound better in context. With regard to his comments regarding the Trans ideology recently, I would imagine this was cleverly released in time to get people talkin...

Re: “Road,” August 25, 2023
With regards to WLF... It's better than 'I'm Alice' at least. But for me, it's not great. Seems pretty lyrically poor and a bit devoid of ideas really. Not enjoying the sound of this new record so far. Hopeful there's some better material on there though. Bit surprised by the poor view count on Yout...

Pass The Gun Around
Cleansed by Fire
Wind Up Toy
Killer
I love the Dead
All great. But I have to say my favourite album closer is 'My God'. An emotional and sublime end to what is for me, quite a weak record. Or should I say 'patchy' record.

Re: I'm Alice
Hmmm. Doesn't really grab me this song. Feels a bit disjointed. Not bad at all, just a bit middle of the road. Feels like Alice has been on this same theme for a while now. I'm not sure how many times he can 'go to the well' of this Detroit/Garage rock style. But I'm glad many on here seem to enjoy ...
