Re: Setlist
Same again tonight in Glasgow Honestly I expected to be a little disappointed that there wasn’t more new stuff but absolutely loved it. Really enjoyed Creeper. The Cult were pretty dull. Their singer has a real ego and comes across as very unpleasant. My first time at the Hydro though and thoroughly...

Re: UK Tickets
I’ve ended up having to arrange for box office collection for Glasgow. Never been to the venue before but contacted them to get the necessary details My communications with AXS were ignored but my girlfriend managed to get a response, luckily. Every other gig I’ve been to this year has automatically...

Re: UK Tickets
I haven't received tickets for Glasgow yet. AXS are being utterly useless at responding.

Re: Thoughts On And Ranking The New Album
This is the first album since Brutal Planet that has connected with me. It's been a week and it continues to grow on me. At first I didn't care much for "Private Public Breakdown" and now it's becoming on of my favorite tracks off the album. Same goes for Dyanmite Road which I'm really starting to ...

Re: Am I The Only One Who Liked W2MN?
I do like it, but probably less so now than when it first came out. When it came out I was pleased with the fuller sound, the nods to the past and the sheer variety of songs. Unlike many here I like What Baby Wants, and Last Man on Earth is excellent, as is I am Made of You. I like the idea of the U...

Re: Parnormal Lyrics Help!!
Me and Si have been discussing the lyrics trying to get them right for the web site and we disagree on a few songs and a few words. Maybe the rest of the forum can help. here are the songs. Paranoiac Personality And all of them try to strangle me.. Yeah (yeah) is what I hear being sung there. Si th...

Re: THEORY: What if Alice Cooper hid the setlist in the song
You could add Why Trust You. I think the end of Dead Flies sounds about the coolade very much like the end of WTY.

Re: Thoughts On And Ranking The New Album
Love it. I think the reunion tracks are actually two of the weaker tracks which surprised me. I don't understand the hate for Holy Water. It's something different from Alice, as a lot of the tracks are. Only one I really wasn't keen on on first listen was Public Private Breakdown although it improve...

Re: More tracks to hear...
I really like Paranormal and the more I listen the better it gets. I like the story and the different moods throughout. It's an interesting album opener but I don't see why it can't work. And on the other topic I thought IAMOY was incredible-again an interesting one to use at the beginning of an alb...

W2MN. DD before that. I like it when Alice experiments and gives you a varied album that keeps it interesting and these two were successful in that regard for me.

Re: More tracks to hear...
From what we can tell from 30 second samples, I like it. It's not what I expected, but I love the variety, something I feel Alice does more than a lot of artists. Sounds like there is some good playing, catchy, melodic songs and some stuff we haven't heard from him before. Very much looking forward ...

Re: What is it you love about Alice?
I originally discovered Alice mostly because of his name. I'd heard of this guy, liked the look and thought I'd check it out. I loved the stage show and the uniqueness. What I have since grown to love about Alice is the sheer variety of musical styles. He's touched upon so many genres - and I would ...

Re: Paranormal Cover
Obviously we won't know until we hear the album, but I thought the two heads with different expressions might reflect two different sounds. Alice has said that the album is varied. As for whether I like it, yes, I think I do. I like the splatter logo which, for me, still has that RYFAY - era connota...

If I could choose a song for Alice to cover, it would be Nightmare by Arthur Brown. I'd love to see what he could do with that

Re: Easy songs on guitar
I used to have some Wind Up Toy tabs that sounded pretty good and weren't too hard. First song I learned was Ballad of Dwight Fry. Poison Intro is OK too.
Oh - Lost in America - simple and fun (I never bothered trying to learn solos though)

My God
Has anyone else ever become hooked on this song? I must admit I never thought much of it for years until it came on my phone when I was out with it set to shuffle, and suddenly I absolutely love it. It's in my head all day, and I listen to it on repeat for long stretches at a time. I've heard of son...

Re: What do you want to see Alice cover?
Joking about country aside, I would like to hear Alice do some jazzy/bluesy stuff. His own songs like Crazy Little Child and Blue Turk, along with songs like Welcome to My Nightmare and Last Man on Earth (whatever genre that would fit into) etc sound really good. If he could dig out some songs in th...
